As soon as I started playing legacy, my sound was totally screwed, every cut scene the dialogue was extremely quiet and all other sounds were amplified, Ive got by with subtitles but its really annoying and didnt effect me at all playing DA2 before.

Also same thing when characters chit chat in areas.

I can't download Legacy from the site. It's been sitting on 20 sec remaining for half an hour and th process seems to have stopped. I downloaded it when I first purchased it but a computer failure means I have to re-download it on a new computer.

I actually had poor audio problems with DA2 from the beginning, if you just "force stereo" or whatever it is for headphone use in the audio options that might "fix" the low audio.

so I just bought legacy a couple days ago and I enjoyed it for my first two playthroughs but am getting major story glitches on my 3rd, I see them all being discussed so I won't repeat, but the response in this thread from dev/representatives has died. Is a patch coming to fix legacy's issues? With MOTA coming I'd really like to see legacy properly supported before I risk buying another DLC

I'm hoping that with the release of Mark of the Assassin, maybe we'll get some sympathetic programmers who could gift us with some of their free time and chug out a patch. This is my formal plea to them, anyway, as I'm not going to download Legacy or Mark of the Assassin until Legacy's been patched. And I'm itching to get them :<

i have a big problem! i play in act 1 if that makes any difference. I battle the dwarf with the pronto and get hawkes key but every time i try to leave and use "passage down" my game shuts down;( and the way back is also blocked. HELP PLS!

You might try re-installing legacy. It sounds like something is corrupted.

i did that but still got the same problem, it ever breaks the whole game or the loading screen freezes

anyone else experiencing the problem that both Legacy download links (PC/Mac) both seem to be linked with the Mac File (PC download is also a .DMG file instead of an EXE)

Ever since I downloaded Legacy my computer has been crashing whenever I play the game every 10-20 minutes, even after finishing Legacy. I downloaded the 1.03 patch shortly after the problem started but that didn't help. The EA tech people suggested I update my drivers, but that didn't fix the issue. My video card is below the minimum requirements, Radeon HD 2400 Pro, but I never had this problem the first time I played through the game, nor at the start of the 2nd run through until I started playing Legacy, so I think it is fair to conclude that this is clearly something that was caused by Legacy.

Reading old posts, it looks like people who had a similar problem just in Legacy, not the whole game as I am experiencing, went from DirectX11 to DirectX9. Do people think that would help my situation? If so, any recommended links to a trustworthy DirectX9 download? I am a big fan of the Dragon Age series, but also very much not tech savvy, so dumbed down explanations greatly appreciated.

I won't deal with DLC personally, so I can't claim that I know much about Legacy as an unstable item.

Thanks for the link. Switching to Dx9 appeared to let the game run longer, but my computer shut down. Oh well, I guess I'm just going to have to grind out this last play through...
