Occasionally, some enemies won't die they have about a point or two life points but when Hawke or one of the companions hit them...they don't die if I leave them they do die later. It's strange. And happens rarely but I thought I would post about it.

I don't know if this is a tech issue but in my game I am triggering very few banters. I only get a couple and the majority of them are in one doorway in the beginning of the game.

I run into the same problem every now and again too, but it's not a Legacy-specific issue. IIIRC, it's a glitch that's been around since the DAII was released.

Hey, everyone. Just thought I'd come and give an update on some of the issues you're seeing as I said I would.

First of all, there appears to be some issue with Hawke:Companion 1 on 1 banters (not all of them though). The reason why the Fenris LI and the other ones are is completely a coincidence in that it's the only one that uses Hawke:Companion instead of Companion:Companion banter.

Second, currently if you complete Legacy the statue will reactive in the next act. Please ignore this for now - Legacy is not intended to be played in each act.

Third, a few people have mentioned that the Rogue/Mage armor uses the same art asset. This was intentional. Now, I'm sure the obvious 'why?!' question will jump in to your heads but I can't go in to those details so unfortunately you'll just have to accept it for what it is.

Thanks to everyone who has been helping with identifying these issues with me. As always, I'll keep you updated as best I can.

Hi Luke.

So ... for the technically clueless, what does this mean?  Is it fixable?  Will we be getting Fenris LI dialogue anytime in the near future?

I actually went back to Legacy after completing it in Act 1 and it doesn't exactly start over.  It takes you to the base of the final tower battle after you've killed Corpheus.  You get to interact with Liarus there again.  I did not try to go back into the earlier parts of the DLC.  So I do not know if that is possible.

Ahhh okay, thanks for the update! Now obligatory follow up question, I am going to assume you have not mentioned if there will be a fix yet for Fenris's LI dialogue because you cannot give us a definite answer at this time?

And I have one other quick question for you Luke.
I noticed Bethany gets a staff called Bloodline from finishing the side quest Malcom's Will, but I noticed Carver does not get any item after completing Malcom's Will, well nothing expcet a nice lecture for joining the templars by my Hawke .:P So I was just curious to know if it was intentional for Carver to not recieve an item after the quest Malcom's Will is completed, or if it is a bug.

I seem to have an issue with legacy as well, I get to the base of the tower after fighting the demons summoned by the grey wardens, and when i enter the tower it crashes on load, last logged event is Area List Swap - Start, then it crashes to desktop

I do know there are tons of banters and Hawke making remarks when companions are bantering and Hawke replying to a companion that are not firing. (Or maybe not put into game at all) There are like 5 or 6 youtube videos with them so they are recorded at least. Would be so wasteful not to use all that great stuff. imho

I guess you will update when/if this will be fixed? I have my characters waiting...again to finish playing.

Any help I can get from Bioware with audio issues? The game music now sounds like a broken record or a seriously stretched out cassette tape on the green level. Pops are almost incessant, and there's a horrible echo on just about everything.  Much as I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, I have the same audio issues mentioned in the Gamespot review, here:

I have the volume fading in and out in a battle.  The loudness being overloud to the point of distortion, especially the ambient effects.  Pops and crackles, and not just after battles.

Did you try to 'force stereo sound'?

It was on by default, and when I disabled it my first playthrough for Legacy, the pops went away.  I still have it disabled, and this second playthrough all my audio issues are back.  I've had it in the main game since Patch 1.03, but I was able to make some small video tweaks that minimized it.  Legacy's awful.

I got the same, I completed it in Act 3 then the statue was active again in post game.  I did find after interacting with Larius again (same convo - different companions) that my game locked up and had to reboot...won''t be doing this again.

i must be 1 of the lucky 1's as i havent had any of these problems so far in legacy, but have heard that some lines aren't firing, i was wondering if that was true are there broken flag issues ?

C, in the final battle, just can't die. There is one little bit of his hp, but no matter how long i shoot at him, he can't die. This is frustrating.

When an enemy goes into the 1 hp glitch, stop ALL attacks on that mob. It'll die of natural causes.

At least, this works for me.

The caveat being that you cannot kill C before he completes all 3 phases of his attack. If you whittle him all the way down in the 2nd phase he'll still go back to the center, regenerate some HP, and start the next phase.

This issue is more to do with the game itself than with Legacy, but it's playing through Legacy that I've noticed that even in v1.03, the path-finding bugs still have not been fixed. My level 22 Rogue still thinks he can jump towards an enemy that is on the other side of a gap in order to attack them when he can't. Also, when I used Backstab on an enemy near the edge of the wooden platform that has the trap switches on them, my Rogue appeared below the platform without ever actually hitting the enemy.

I have a really odd problem: Everytime I start downloading Legacy (have been trying several times per day for the past week) it starts at 10 kB/s but quickly falls to 800B/s or something like that (20 days remaining). Then the download always stops at 96kB. I have no problems downloading the other DLC like the black emporium and the exiled prince. I tried downloading with different browsers; google chrome, firefox and internet explorer and have the same problem everytime.

EDIT: I get about 700 kB/s when I download the other DLC's so even the 10kB/s in the beginning is very slow

Try restarting your PC and hopefully it should reassign you to a different download stem. It's possible that for whatever reason there is some holdup with the download stem you've been assigned.

I don't know if someone mentioned this before (didn't read all pages of this topic), but I have Steam version of DA2 and with this DLC game keeps crashing on loading screens. Tis not issue with directx11, 'cause I'm using directx 9 (yup weaker pc and nvidia). Till this dlc I didn't have this problem, now, tis getting really serious - almost every loading screen will cause my pc to freeze. Once again, apologies if someone already posted about this issue.

I know this is rather trivial compared to the serious issues people are having with the boss and such, but theres one thing really bugging me. The Robes of the Silent One's bonus that gives you a chance to stealth is really annoying me, because whenever it makes my Hawke stealth, it turns off blood magic. It took me a while to figure out what was causing this, as because I usually just keep attacking things, I wasn't even noticing Hawke going into stealth, as it was instantly broken. So it kept seeming like my Hawke was turning blood magic off for no reason.

I don't think this is a bug, more just an annoying oversight, but I thought I'd just mention it :3 just have to stick with my old robes for now :(

I wonder if that is a bug. I had something on my rogue...a dagger maybe? From the base game that stealth when hit % time. I got rid of it, when it fired I stopped attacking what I was...attacking.

My legacy doesnt download...the furthest it has gotten to is 2% and that took 1 hour so i dont know if it is my internet or computer or a glitch with the site..

^ Nevermind im just being silly for not seeing the earlier posts
EDIT: after looking at the post that says to restart my computer. i restarted and retried downloading through the bioware site and still stopped at around 1-2%. if anyone has a solution it would be helpful :)
