...And now I am back at my estate with nothing to do and I can't go anywhere....which I think is kinda lame. Don't get me wrong I like DA2 but, I don't understand being able to play after you kill Meredith but can't leave the house. :-/

Did anyone find the Grey Warden Headgear? If there was any?
Yes. I don't want to spoil, so I will just say- if you solve a puzzle, you will get the headwear. That should lead you in the right direction...

Awesome just dl ithope it's not short ^^ dont want it to end to fast, btw the Darkspwn really dont look like darkspwn anymore. (And i think that sucks tbh) dont look anything close to the *Origins* they look more like damn zombies ^^ anyway legacy have been awesome atm..
I'm with you on the whole darkspawn part. I mean come on that changes the whole story about why each type of darkspawn look the way they do and why they look that way. Unless Bioware comes up with a reason later on as to why they look differernt then find,
I would think the reason the darkspawn look different, is because they have been locked up in a gray warden prison with magical locks on it for hundreds of years

They're a new kind of Genlock never seen before. New content including the genlocks in Origins would be cool.pmac_tk421 wrote...
Are there genlocks in legacy?

Game mode: hard
Playing from Post-Campaign
Time taken: 8 hours (!)
Ok, 8 hours are a lot and this probably made you jump on your seat, but know that most of it consists in battles - the final battle alone must have taken about 40 minutes >_<
MONSTERS AND FIGHTS
As Bioware had promised, battles require more strategic thinking and "reinforcements" don't appear magically behind you (i.e. the infamous wave system) but you can actually see them arrive from afar. The new monsters are really tough and have different kinds of attacks: if you want to avoid taking massive damage, you must look at their animations so you can anticipate their moves. You can take advantage of the environment, like pulling levers to use traps, and some boss fights actually require you to interact with magical switches: that means that battles are not just *hackhackhack* but *hackhack*pullthelever*hackhack*avoidcharge*hackhack*. Those fights depleted my potion reserves (good thing my Hawke was a spirit healer!!) and the few healing potions I've found around (not on monsters, but on tables and crates... more realistic uh?) were just enough to keep my party alive till the next fight. At first this was furstrating, but once I figured out how to deal with those super strong enemies I actually started having fun.
ENVIRONMENTS
Areas are all new, nothing recycled from the main game (except textures and props, that is). You're not going to see that damn cave over and over again. You don't have much freedom in terms where to go, it's still a loooong one-way "tunnel" (inb4thehate, Dragon Age Origins was like that, too). You can go off the beaten path from time to time, and this will lead to uncover clues, bits of lore and a couple of sidequests. Nothing to write home about, but this adds to the charm.
COMPANIONS
Companions talk to each other and comment on your actions, just like in the main game (fully voiced, brand new dialogues). My party consisted in Aveline, Carver and Isabela. Isabela kept being knocked out (she's good for low level mobs, but bosses just tear her apart) so it was just my mage Hawke and the two fighters most of the times. Why am I keeping Isabela around if I say she's useless? Because of the lulz. Everything she says in the DLC is golden. BTW, it's suggested to have your sibiling with you, if available.
STORY
Lukily, Legacy is not just fights (or I'd be quite angry). The story starts slow, with little clues about the "Big Bad Evil" that wants your blood, then it gradually gets more importance in the second half. I personally would have liked more "story" in the first half too, just to keep things interesting between fights. You know, I'm enduring all those furstrating fights not just because I'm masochist, but also because I'm interested in the STORY.
Later on you'll meet secondary characters that have different views on how to deal with the "Big Bad Evil" and you'll have to choose whom you'd like to side with. That leads to the Morally Grey Choice and the Ambiguous Ending .
I liked how the DLC recognized the "family situation" of my Hawke, from love interest to surviving relatives. The last scene was very touching, I almost shed a tear. Kudos to Bioware.
Final words: If you liked Dragon Age 2, you're going to like Legacy. If you *hated* Dragon Age 2, know that this DLC is a proof that Bioware is trying to listen to your complaints: waves and enemies appearing out of nowhere are gone, fights require more strategy (see above when I talk about interacting with the environments and monsters with different attacks) and there are Grey Wardens. Everyone likes Grey Wardens yes? :-/

The Xbox and PS3 both fail so I could give a crap if they ever get it!
On a side not EA pulling there games from Steam means I will not be buying EA games until EA relises the money they are loosing by being a ****** of a company! I own a lot of games but only ones that are on Steam if EA chooses Origin over Steam they loose out!
