I hear you. I'm surprised Sony hasn't jumped on this new content quickly, they need to get games up as quickly as possible. Maybe they have to rework files for compatibility - digital download websites have to for patches.

Sorry about PS3 gamers having to wait, but in truth, you don't need an uber-graphics card to run DA2 on the PC, as it does have a DX 9 mode. That opens the door for a lot of gamers with older PCs.

For example, you can run Mass Effect 1 and Witcher 1 on a 7800 GTX, which is a 6-year-old GPU.

Yeah, I have plent of power to run DA2 on PC, but I prefer to play it on Consol. But honestly? come on, every other platform has it available, and people are getting to enjoy it, except for the playstation. It's unacceptable in this day of instant gratification. I can only accept so many appologies for there inconsistancies, the only thing they are consitant in.... is dissapointing mass amounts of people. *sigh* I'll stay loyal to PSN, but I litterally have no reason to at all.

What I dont understand is this:  Is it that they cant release in the same time frame as XBL, or is it that they wont for some reason?  Either way, it's a bit frustrating

I don't understand why PSN would delay like this.

Not trying to sound crude or anything, but I'm off to start a new game of DA2. I finished my last game before Legacy was available. Since every party member has voiceovers, this will provide a lot of replayability.

I think Sony's policy is to update the psn every wednesday worldwide. Let me remind you, though, that us Europeans didn't get (to buy) DA2 untill 3 days after it was out in the US and and CAN.
And that in the old days, and by that I mean 10 or more years ago, we had to wait to get expansions, bugs fixed (patches) etc. on discs that game with magazines. Having to wait 10-15 minutes or a day is not that much waiting time compared to then.

However, if you want to to play the content, even 5 minutes can feel very long indeed...

I have the steam version of Dragon Age 2, just bought Legacy, installed it but i cannot find anyway to start it, just looked in the ingame menu for installed downloadable content and its listed as 'unautherised'. I have to say that this **** is getting seriously under my skin. Some help would be appreciated.


problem solved, overlooked that i had to change the password to my account due to the recent server hack.

Legacy here i come!

I think I saw in the other thread (the thread that is now locked) that you'll need to go upstairs? e.g. to the library? In there, there should be a statue where you can gather your party (nice touch and greeting ti Baldur's Gate, btw...)

If you used the official link then yea, that sucks bro....If you used that "backdoor" link that alot of folks used then sorry, no sympathy here.

@fire- dont get me wrong, I love my PS3.  I just hate PSN compared to XBL.

After booting DA2, log-on first, then go to Downloadable Content - it should show as authorized then (mine does show as authorized).

New DLCs won't activate without a log-on.

Sony just blows, or more accurately PSN:
-the entire system was hacked, sure this can happen to every company but unencrypted data, seriously?
-content is always late, even more so if you're in another region than the US
-the DLC seem to cost the same in USD as they cost in EUR

Atleast they have great exclusive titels.

No, I wasn't. I bought the DLC and used the official download link, so your comment doesn't help anyone ¬¬

The third time I downloaded the DLC, it worked properly.
