Loved Legacy.  Great DLC.  I also like the core game to DA2.  I'm on a second play through and this time, I chose to use different companions.  I'm having a very different experience.  Loving all of it.  I can't wait for the next DLC.  Bring it on!

I believe they said that "if" they make a DA3, it will feature a new character, but that references to the Warden and Hawke would likely be in there.

loving tis dlc so many things to shake a stick at i had to replay from the ending to actually go thru the entire dlc to find everything i really wish you would make expac for da2.

but please take you time and not be rushed like last time, i think da2 was a great game if you ignore the repetitive maps and the way some mobs did pop out thin air there was few that did this in da:o as well but not as extreme as they was doing in da2, legacy feels like it should been made like this  to say here what we made to show you we are listening, although some wont see the ending with Anders and or what happens to him not going to say,
  realty shock item to him understand something about to grasp at. see what he saw something that make his ideals thru out dragon age2 turn and slap him some sense into him...

i really want another another dlc that damn arrow over the desk when you go to the desk is still showing a quest to be given. but yet nothing is there after you done the dlc and the entire game so i would love to see what else you have in store for da2, hell i dont care if just testing new mobs and scripts things i want more there still more room for fixing and  story  to see what happened to hawke i mean you still havent shown flemith story in this da  only telling us that she  not a whole person but many peices of the main scattered...

i hope so i still think that you might  use the other story heroes from you games after flemith takes off with them to make a story about whats going to happen and why she taken the champion and the warden that we played in the past games.

ACWolfe - Yees...when Bioware find that I've tied up Gideon Emery having dressed him up as Fenris..and am making final touches to his white wig/doing angry expressions at him..or throttling/belittling Adam Howden dressed as Anders...I will probably just defend myself by simply stating..

"I am just getting them into character for the next installation..."...

Having killed Anders though just because that Sebastian guy was getting all ''stabby'' on me, I have a feeling he might not return again, or will make a brief appearance. I also swear I've heard Merril's voice on the radio which freaked me out to no end.

Rocket_man77 - I agree, the character within DA2 has a lot of potential development. The story feels unfinished unlike Origins whose ending felt just right. Part of me hopes Kirkwall will burn to the ground and the hero will be left with nothing but me with a prodding stick telling him/her to go on a real big adventure like DA origins.

Dragmeire is probably right, Da3 will feature some innocent pink cheeked hero from Orlais that ends up becoming the saviour having his/her whole life ruined by the establishment.

Well, Orlais is unexplored.  So is Tvinter and Antiva.  Any of those would make fine new settings.  I wouldn't mind an adventure that occurs along the Orlais-Ferelden border.

Hmm Tevinter would be particularly interesting considering its rich history...I love the idea of being a mage apprentice there or an underground warrior/rogue trying to fight the Tevinter mages...hmm..I guess it doesn't have to be about Orlais!

It's taken forever for Mass Effect 3. I imagine we will have a very long wait for DA3.

Especially since it was obvious that DA2 was rushed and it's what a lot of people complained about. I think Legacy had a long development cycle because of that, and I think DA3 will have an even longer one. My guess is they will probably try to prep DA3 for 4Q2013-1Q2014. That a 2 year plus development cycle and would make sense because they won't have any Mass Effect for 2013 so they'll need to release something.

I posted this over in the tech thread for XBox but haven't heard anything so I thought I'd ask here:

Has anyone taken Merril along and she's your Hawke's LI? Can anyone confirm that her LI dialog fires for XBox? I'm on the fence about firing up Legacy again but would rather wait if there needs to be a patch.

I have to admit I loved the DLC, only a little disappointed there was no more LI Fenris dialogue with my Hawke.

Unless you're on PS3 there wasn't an additional patch. If you already had the most recent versions (1.02 on xbox and 1.03 on PC) you're up to date.

Can anyone clarify if there is any romance specific dialogue? A friend of mine got Anders' dialogue after completing Legacy, but I have Merrill as an LI and I didn't get anything.

There is romance specific dialog. Fenris is bugged, though. On top of my head I think I remember Merrill having a romance specfic banter with Anders if her romance is activated.

Loved it , way the go Bioware, continue with this trend and DA3 should be major WOW
Just completed it last night (missed one trophy) and started a new play thru with different career.
Will be playing a few times to get the various different outcomes/dialogs (as per what I saw on Bioware TV)

I too finished Legacy last night, and I really enjoyed it. A lot of really good conversations, tough battles, and a storyline that goes back to the roots, what made DAO so awesome, the interesting lore. Legacy is what more of DA2 should have been, and really points the way forward for future DLC and for DA3. Its so interesting, so much new and unique, and I look forward to playing through it again! Two thumbs up for this fantastic DLC, highly reccomended!

i haven't purchased the legacy DLC as i've been disappointed with DA DLC before. I enjoyed DA2 though i think it has some flaws, from what i've read this DLC is designed to address some of these problems. First, does it succeed, and second, why is it a paid DLC if it is fixing problems from the core game? i like that they take feedback but surely they could release it free if its a fix

An example of this would be CD projekt releasing the witcher 2 2.0 for free, as it is based on feedback since release, and adds new content to make the game better.
