He did have a point, the DLC items were weaker than the Item Pack DLC items (which I was using).

To be honest, I don't care what something looks like, what matters is the stats of the item - why complain, especially if the item levels-up with you?

I loved every single minute of Legacy - I was blown away by the quality of the storyline - BioWare told a great lore-filled story here, and in a RPG, storyline is everything.

The only thing I would have tweaked (if I had been a QC on it) would be I would have made the Legacy items match or exceed the stats of the Item Pack DLC counterparts.

I am not complaining about this DLC. I simply made a comment about the first item pack.

I am not complaining about this DLC. I simply made a comment about the first item pack.

Looks don't keep you alive in melee combat, the stats of the item does. If my helmet had Medusa's snakes but had the best stats, I'd wear it on my character.

Stats > looks, aesthetics gives nothing in melee.

 I feel so weird...I thought DA 2 was extremely mediocre but Legacy is really really good, I mean I was expecting it to be good after some of the harsh reviews of DA 2 but still...I think Legacy is a good way of Bioware showing that they are still doing their best and are still going to make quality games.

thanks, although I never have to worry about top download speed. I'm luck if I hit 50 Kbps (I did say my internet was crappy:crying:)

DA2 is still quality to me, the repeated environments are just a fallback to Mass Effect 1 days.

The storyline and characters made DA2. I think it was better to have Hawke than a continuation of DA:O's characters - after all, Sten returned to his people, and he was bound to the Qun.

I have a possible solution for you.

When I was using dial-up, I used a dial-up accelerator from Proxyconn. The software worked by compressing and decompressing on-the-fly, and they had a lot of servers around the U.S. They also stored a lot of commonly accessed webpages.

There's also DAP by Speedbit, but I am not sure if it works with dial-up (this one you'd have to check).

Well I played and finished in one night and I was amazed at how good it was I can't wait to replay it with another character. For my first play through I used a character that I had already finished the game with as I liked how his story turned out now when I replay it with an in use character I can't wait to see how the items you can get work in the rest of the game. I liked DA2 not nearly as much as DAO but it had it's good points as a game but Legacy really took it up a level in the right direction. I"m really looking forward to what is to come with more DLC it was totally worth the $9.99 price to me..

Steam was wrong - EA owns the games, so Steam has to abide by the license to resell. If they don't want to abide, then they cannot resell.

I just bought legacy for ps3, and it says it will take 700 min to finish 640mb.... i have a net of 10mb... something is wrong here... any ps3 users still having isues?

My internet speed is quite good, but I have one of the original 60 GB PS3's and my times are ropey (Once had 105 minutes come up), I think age of console can also affect the times.

Well, I saw that as well. But if i remember correctly, they did the same thing for Arrival (ME2) and that came out on the Wednesday (late though. bout 4-5:00 ish)
