I am preparing an official "canon" playthrough for my import into ME3. I plan on romancing Ashley and would like to be able to activate a conversation that I had with her only once. I have never been able to activate this convo since. In it, Shep says something like, "Ash, you believe in a God who created the universe and has a plan for it. Don't you think aliens have a part in that plan?"
Ash responds by seeming to think on her opinions. I don't think it changes any future dialogue, but I like the character development it shows, no matter how slight. Does anyone know how to get this conversation with Ashley?

That's the persuade option in the convo where she talks about her distrust of the Council. You need to be romancing her and you need to have a high enough persuade skill.

From what I recall, it happens fairly early in the game. Before Virmire that's for sure. I recorded the conversation, if that helps.
