I recently tried to start my second play through off Mass Effect 2. I had found a sollution initially to the nondefault my documents folder save/load glitch. However, I forgot what I did. I tried the fix of uninstalling mass effect, moving my documents back to my C: drive, and reinstalling.
The issue is though that as soon as I get to the first scene I can quicksave at, I save and cannot locate the quicksave file to move into the character folder in my save directory. In my GamerSettings.ini - it says my save location is Location=C:\\Users\\Public\\Documents\\Mass Effect 2\\Save. My quicksaves do not generate a file in this directory however.
I am also prompted to sign into the Cerberus Network upon every opening of Mass Effect 2. None of my achievments show up despite copying my Profile1 file.
Any help is greatly appriciated.
