Got a quick question if anyone can answer, I thought that the key was supposed to be whatever type of weapon hawke was using when we entered the dlc, but I got a dagger, and I am a bow weilder, what gives?

No the key is supposed to be what your class skills are set to. So if you picked specifically bow talents for your hawke then you would get a bow. But if your talents are in dagger talents then you get a dagger.

Apparently, the only things I'm missing are the Unity ring and the Anders-specific accessory. Where are these found?

Also, does anyone know if you get something different for defiling the statue of Dumat instead of placing all the sacrifices?

Quick Edit- I also got two other items not on your list.

Ties That Bind (Belt)
+2 Dexterity
+3% Attack Speed

Doomward (Amulet)
+ 18 Defense
+11% Magic Resistance

The amulet was the reward for The Paragon's Heir sidequest. I think I received Ties That Bind from the Revenant you face in Larius' path. Received at lvl 15.

Okay, now that I've got all the Silent One armor pieces, er... I think they're actually kind of crappy.

+9% to stealth? +healing to this character? +damage resistance? For a MAGE? A lot of these pieces look like they were designed for other classes.

Anders accessory is from the final boss. Anders may need to be in the party.

Unity is obtained from one of the golems I think.

I defiled the statue but only faced a couple Rage Demons and Shades. Nothing special just from beating them, although maybe something else is obtained later.

So apparently you get different accessories from the 'mini-bosses' you face depending on which Warden you side with. A belt from Larius and a ring from Janeka?

It's in the OP. Luke Barrett said nothing levels with you. Also, level 25 is the highest the items in Legacy will be, so there is no increase past level 25.

Yeah, I just saw that. Too bad though.

Also, edited my previous post with some Rogue stuff. :)

Assassin, Shadow, and Scoundrel are all dagger class skill sets. Subterfuge not sure I never took that one myself. But yeah you took dagger specific skill trees and as such you got the dagger key.

Best bet for you to get the bow key is to go to the black emporium, buy a makers sigh and then respec, after you gain the bow. leave the DLC there is a way to do so. Go back to the black emporium, respec one more time and take the skills from the skill trees you told me about in the forum here.

Only way I can think of to do it.

Some extra notes before I go to bed:

* There is a "Warm Orb" plot item in the Carta Hideout and I don't know what it's for
* In the area you run through with Janeka, there are a couple "rooms" on the minimap that don't seem accessible
* Is there something more than meets the eye for defiling the altar?

Took a 24 level mage in, earned around 100 gold, and 1 level.
Armor set:
Robe: 335 armor, 2 rune slots, +4 magic, 9% chance to stealth when hit
Footwraps: 121 armor, +30 defense, +5 mana/stamina regin
Cowl: 134 armor, +1 con, 9% damage resist, +6 fort
Gloves: 80 armor, +24 armor, +7% healing to this character

Had Carver, Varric and Merril, and got the tower sweeper achievement. Belt of the Hawk didn't drop for me, don't know why, but it isn't there in my inventory.

First point, I've just had a bit of a brain spark on that item, I wonder if it is for activating the 3 nodes to complete the Puzzle Room? That seems to me to be the logical choice seeing as there is nothing else past that point which we really meddle with.

Second point, I don't know yet as not taken her route yet.

Third point, I've pondered this. I do have a save file right in front of it and when I was redoing part of the story (as I'd not completed 'Paragon Heirs' initially nor worked out what the power nodes were really for) I did ponder the idea of defiling it on 2nd runthrough seeing as I'd placed the items the first time but I decided not to. It'd certainly be interesting if there is more to it than just fighting some demons (I've read that you get into a battle if you defile it).

@mcsupersport
That is most likely because you had Carver with you, I don't think it is just Bethany absent specific, I think it is Sibling absent specific. Because the cut-scene for the end of the Malcolm's Will sidequest ends differently if they aren't there. I had Sebastian have a chat with my Fem Mage Hawke at that point (he was her LI)

did you ever try out that robe?
I wonder if the chance to stealth is bugged like the boots of the void- If it randomly dispels your sustains rather than actually stealthing.

The only thing is that the unblemished cleanliness robes will be so much superior to any +magic robe simply due to all the elemental modifiers. They should have made a spirit version of it maybe rather than a magic robe with stealth (though if it works it could do wonders in a solo mage run threatmanagement-wise)

Anybody found any items that improve blood magic? I thought you might be able to setup the key to have that property but I guess not.

I found a ring like this, from the first part of the DLC: (or is it a random drop?)

It looks like a random drop but it is better than nothing. Seems strange that a Carta signet ring would improve blood magic though.  I would have thought there might have been more items (from a blood magic perspective) with all this talk of blood, tevinter magisters, etc.

Rogue armor looks pretty good, although the key dagger looks rather unsightly, IMO.

I think I found everything else apart from the headslot for the armor set. Where do you pick it up? (I sided with Larius).

Also wondering about the warm orb... :)

That doesn't look like a dagger, more like a warmace or axe if you ask me. Daggers are piercing weapons, punctuating weakpoints in armor, not build to hack and slash away at enemies as this design seems to favour.

Another question however:
This "+chance to regenerate Health/Stamina", is this calculated per attack or per hit? Because if I am a two-handed warrior engaging multiple opponents at once, a chance per hit would multiply the chance to get the effect. And an average chance of 15% to regain 3% stamina everytime I hack at three bad guys would go great with a Berserker 2H Warrior.

There are quite a few new generic items that are specifc to this dlc. The stats are randomly generated, same as with any generic item in the game. Rarity colour can be white or orange, depending on the number of stats a certain item has.
Items that fall under this category are:
- Carta Signet Ring
- Bone Ring
- Tarnished Tevinter Amulet
- Studded Leather Belt

There are also some new generic weapons (white or orange rarity). The stats are randomly generated, same as with accessories.
Here's what I found so far:
- Carta Thug's Dagger
- Serrated Blade (dagger)
- Antique Tevinter Long Bow (longbow)
- Carved Beechwood Bow (shortbow)
- Blackened Great Axe
- Ironclad Staff
- Twisted Staff
- Timeworn Walking Stick (staff)
- Hooked Sfaff

Update:
- There is no reward for completing Malcolm's Will quest, if Carver is in your party.
- lvl. 25 stats for the staff: The Hawke's Key - 59 electricity damage, +4 magic

I haven't gotten the chance to use the robes because of where they drop and it being an end game save.

Headwear is found by turning on the three extra nexus lights, allowing you to solve the light puzzle on four levels in that room. Once you do it opens a passage in the east-northeast, previously blocked by colored light.

Ok somehow I missed the Cowl of the Silent One how did I miss that I could have sworn I checked all over for everything I could. Is it beyond that room with the blue haze on the opening how do you get beyond that?
