Level 7 Mage when I began, Lvl 11 when I finished

I believe lvl 6 or 7 (after you gather your companions) is the best to start this DLC (at least for a warrior). Just started new character to test it out.

You will get the same story and the items has the most worth. Even if you bought items DLC, like I did, the new armor set and weapon are still useful. For me the 2 hander from items pack DLC was only very slightly better than Legacy weapon. In other words I believe I will be able to use DLC items through whole act 1 and up until I will be lvl 15-17 (while when I did Legacy in act 3, I didn't use armor nor weapon even 1 second - they are weaker than other items you get in act 3), in other words until I will switch to higher level items pack DLC items.

So if you want to get the most out of Legacy, if you want to wear Legacy items for a while, go in soon in act 1. :)

It's a good DLC after all. If you are not waiting to do it "later". My opinion.

In the same vein, as a Mage, the best time to go would probably some time in the first half of Act 2. There are no big lightning staves until Act 3, and there are TONS of shades and other electricity weak enemies. Once you hit Act 3, you have so many staff options that the Hawke's Key won't obviously outshine Eye of the Storm until around 24 or 25.

Been working on getting the formulas for all the stats. I'm gonna finish the last three Hawke's Keys and that's it. Also have some new files listed that are in the game code, but currently either unfound or just not lootable.

Damn, I hope Carver not getting his mace is a bug that will be fixed. I assume it's meant to come from the same quest Bloodline and the Belt. In the meantime, if anyone can find the model in the code it'd be nice to see what it looks like.

Dang, its nice, and I have to wait for some kind of patch (and re-play the DLC at that, oh well, I can take Anders next time and get his unique too).

What? Pfft. I was wondering why Carver didn't get a weapon after the Malcolm spirit quest thingie like Bethany did. That's when he's supposed to get it, right?

But my Hawke didn't get any belt at that point either, that I can recall.

I didn't either. I'm pretty sure you only get the belt if neither Bethany nor Carver is in your party. I assume since Carver's mace is bugged you end up with nothing at all! Hope they fix it in the next patch.

Could anyone tell me what the warrior armor-set looks like? I'm guessing it just looks like typical Warden Armor but I'd like confirmation.

That is not what my two-handed sword looks like.  How did you get that model?

Lineage (2h mace, Carver only) - 12-42 Physical Damage, 2-4 Strength, 9-13% critical chance, 9-11% attack speed, Attacks ignore enemy armor
Wardens' Secret (Shield) - 56-296 Armor, 8 Health Regen, +28-42% healing to this character
The Skylark's Golden Ring - 5-16 Health =round(1.8+LVL*0.6), 13-50 Attack formula slightly off =9.3348e^(.0696*LVL), Bonus to disarm traps, Bonus to lockpicking
Buckled Cinch of the Imperium (belt) - 1 Cunning, 27-100 Attack, 1-2% attack speed

Nice work, Thendcomes. Imo, these items are most likely bugged. Carver's mace is definitelly the missing reward for Malcolm's Will quest. No idea where the other items might be.

I played through once as my mage and got all of Hawke's specila wq set no problem.

This time I'm playing as DW rogue and I'm not getting the Helm piece of the set after killing the Carta and then finishing Larius puzzle. I've done this three times. Is that when and were you get the Helm? What am I doing wrong?

I've tried going with Janeka twice and she doesn't even have a puzzl, it goes to her activating the power nexus and then on to the Prison Tower. I've basically spent all afternoon redoing the second half of Legacy over and over different ways and I'm not getting the Helm,

Pleae help I'm giong craaaaaaaaaaaazy! Lol

Thank You So Much to Whoever Can Help!
Moorebe

I also can't get one of the sections/color blocked door when you activate the power nexus to open up on the level right before you head to the prison tower. I believe I have tried activating all of the power nexus in every different combination possible.i.e.activating the various rooms in a different orders and the last one (that is blue and on the north east section of the map for Larius)
Is the Helm IN THERE? lol

Thanks Again

I haven't gotten the chance to use the robes because of where they drop and it being an end game save.

Headwear is found by turning on the three extra nexus lights, allowing you to solve the light puzzle on four levels in that room. Once you do it opens a passage in the east-northeast, previously blocked by colored light.

I hit the three extra nexus lights, no matter which lights I hit first they alwyas go blue, red and green.  So they can be different colors in the same room on different play throughs, once you hit them no matter what room they are in, it matters the order you hit them.  BUt I'm not getting access the that room in the northeast.  Is that where the Helm is?
I sided with Larius and I'm playing as a rogue with Anders, Aveline and Isablea.

Thank you sooo much to anyone who helps.

I've completed everything in that lfloor and there is nothing left to do but head to the prison tower.  I've hit all the power nexus, unless there is a hidden one and that room where the helm is, is still blocked by a blue light glyph.  How do I remove it?

I honestly don't remember. I didn't even realize it was a puzzle, I just sort of stumbled on the solution.

Moorebe, just search and search and search for that last glyph or whatever to hit. It's somewhere on the level and you haven't found it yet, somehow. That's all there is to it--no secret. It took me ages too.

gosh I'd really love to have that Maul, however if a patch does get made I bet it doesn't add it to your inventory after finishing it >_> (and thus you have to play again...)

I hope they make sure it does...

After you complete Larius puzzle and are at the area where you activate the Power Nexus., there is a still a room that remains sealed in the northeast corner which is where I'm told that HELM is.

Are you guys is saying it DOESN'T matter what order you hit those power nexus??? I've noticed that if you hit them in a different order than different colors occur in different rooms, as I keep re-doing them to see if the order matters.
Does the order u hit them matter? i've been told I'm missing a power nexus that is why that one room is still sealed.
Any idea where it is? I keep looking so obviously it is in a hard to find spot or slightly out of that area maybe?
Any clues where to look would be greatly appreciated. I even went ahead and cleared the room with the 5 undead bosses...
thanks for any help,

Ok, so I just figured it out. I had to go back the the Larius puzzle room and re do it, moving all of the pieces again until all of the lights turned a light greyish white color. Isn't that what color they all are when you complete it the first time though? I must have accidentally moved one before I got to that room in the northeast that is sealed and provides you a chest with the Helm down at the end of that all. While I was doing it again I got a couple of small XP bonuses and then I got another 1,000 exp once I got them all back to the white color again

Anyone experience this?

Okay, I had a save where I had already leveled a Warrior to 50 and was curious as to how high the stats went on The Hawke's Key.

One-Handed - 74 Attack
Two-Handed - 85 Attack, +6 STR

I'll find out about the armor later.
