I've been unable to find the boots for the armor set available throughout, I've found them before in my first playthrough but now I'm looking everywhere and can't find them. D: Anybody know where I should go?

Here're the location to the class specific armor pieces:

Boots: Found in the underground portion of the carta base, in a chest on a raised platform where a bunch of carta snipers were shooting at you

Gloves: Solve a puzzle involving torches in a wet, underground area

Head: This is variable. At a certain point you'll  have the choice of following a man or a woman, and the location of the head changes thussly. I haven't followed the man, but if you follow the woman, solving a lengthy puzzle involving barriers rewards you with the head

Chest: Defeat the last boss.

I found a way to return to Kirkwall, and the sign says that one may continue Legacy at any time. I was going to to do so and sell items to unburden inventory, but could not find any way to return to the DLC; guessing this has to do with starting from a Conclusion Save.

Is this the case? Where is the return mechanism for Legacy?

I'm playing on the 1.03 Steam version. Will anything be messed up if I use a pre 1.03 post game save?

Just use the statue at your home base again. You'll start in front of the "Return to Kirkwall"-statue.

Two questtions from me:

- Does the armorset level up with Hawke?
- Anyone already found out what the "easteregg" is, a dev mentionend a few days ago? PM me to avoid spoilers please.

If you use the statue to leave Legacy, you have to use the statue in your house again to return.

Hello, I have downloaded the legacy expansion. it appears listed in the downloaded/available content section. i have also downloaded the latest patch. However, the statue that starts the quest cannot be found in the 'post game' save file or any of the other saves. Would anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I have this problem too :(

Edit: oh! Apparently all you have to do is log in. Well I feel stupid now.

Is it a good idea to play the dlc with the main game completed? like would it make any sense eg. dialogue responding to big decisions you made about mages vs templars?

My longsword does not have the levelling up stat. Why is this? I thought the weapon (key) is supposed to level up?

I played it this way and it was fine. If done this way, the story plays out as if it happened in Act 3, but before the end game. Your sibling is given a reason to be there, and the events that happen towards the end of act 2 are referenced as well as any romance that continues into act 3 (in some cases...can't confirm all)

The only reason not to play the DLC at this point is that items gained during it won't get much use afterwards, since the game is over. But as far as the story goes, it plays out nicely.

Do we also get a bow version of the key if we play as an archer?

Yup. The game does a check and awards a weapon appropriate to you. The check is apparently based on talents you pick, not how you are currently equipped.

But short answer, is yes there's a bow version.Image IPB

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I've heard the items cap at 25. That may be wrong though so take it with a grain of salt.

I am just entering the final battle for my third run and am planning to do a new Hawke in honor of the DLC. Is there a recommended Act to start in to get the best conversational value with my companions? :-D

Has anyone gone to the Black Emporium after this latest update/DLC buy?

I actually went there first before starting Legacy, as I loaded my first post-game save character and couldn't remember what all I had equipped on my followers and it, besides my estate, was the only place I could access. After mucking around with my followers' equipment/tactics/etc, I cruised around the Emporium and there's a few new items with codex entries that were not there before.

There's one book, in particular, that is intriguing. When you read it, there are several entries listed with gobbledy-****** gibberish as subtitles. Anyone reckon it's a word game? If so, anyone figured out what those titles are (it's not a simple, "read this nonsensical phrase backwards" sort of deal).

EDIT: Holy formatting, Batman!

It is story-based DLC. It changes no mechanics of the main game.

It plays like a flashback if you do that, but I think it works nicely.

Cool, thanks for the answers :)

just 1 more question, who would you say are the best companions to bring along? From what people are saying, it's your sibling if poss and your romanced char, who is the third recommended companion?

I'd reccomend Varric at least once. There are a few points in it that directly relate to him.
