I play a FemHawke Mage, went through the whole thing with Carver, Varric and my dear terrorist Anders (LI).

I enjoyed the side story with Larius, I think it was very well done and the ending where he regains his sanity was a great touch.

In my mind the most amazing part of this was the epilogue (which for me was back at the hawke estate), when my Hawke closed her eyes after talking with Carver, and Leandra appeared beside the fireplace, the conversation that followed made me tear up.

For me this DLC was another amazing example of excellent Bioware storytelling.

I think, by the look on his face and in his eyes, that Larius didn't regain his sanity but was possessed by Corypheus at the moment of his death or after, maybe through the connection of the tainted blood.  social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/304/index/7968494 for topic on Larius

On topic, yes great DLC from the story, banter, ENVIROMENTS (yeah, no reused stuff), and to an extent items.

I've finished playing Legacy now with one of my endgame parties and am working through the second play. Everything has worked beautifully for me, no problems whatsoever. The only thing I've noticed is that taking Anders and Carver along, Anders will ask whether or not Hawke has heard from Carver and she'll say "not a word" even though he's standing right there. Made me laugh. But that's a minor immersion thing.

Overall, I LOVE this DLC. I don't have a single complaint. The different settings are great and really set the mood and the scope is fantastic. I really enjoyed the addition of "viewpoints" where you could stop and get sort of a panoramic look at the scenery and what was happening in the distance - it really made the environment come alive for me. The storytelling, lore, quest tie-ins - all fabulous. I love the additional party banter and I'm looking forward to exploring the content with the various companions.

Thank you, BioWare, for an excellent addition to Dragon Age 2.
