I'm planning on playing through Dragon Age 2 once more, but I'd like to do so once all the DLC planned to be available for Dragon Age 2 is published, rather than simply returning once every couple of months to play each update individually.
Does anyone know if additional updates after Legacy are in the works? I'm sorry if this has been discussed at length already.
Anyone know if Dragon Age 2 Legacy is part of several planned DLC updates?

The answer to that question is almost certainly, "yes."

Though in a recent interview (wish I could remember the site), Bioware rep said they'll wait and see how Legacy performs (sales wise) before deciding.

Naturally, that is always a factor.

After playing Legacy, I hope they make more. It was a lot of fun.

I think they should do more DLC. At least I felt they proved this DLC was worth my time. God story and combat.

I really hope so.

I would think so. I don't think they would bring all the companion voice actors back just to do one 3 hour DLC.
I hope so, anyway. I really liked Legacy and want to see more *cough*EnigmaofKirkwall*cough*.

They could do a few more flashbacks missions like that, to give us ideas about how Hawke dealt with the skipped year, then plunge the storyline right into the expansion which will link both DA2 and DA3 with another possible cliffhanger.

As promised, I picked up Legacy earlier today.
As such, Fernando is now obligated (obligated!) to give a preview of upcoming DA2 projects. Like, what and when for the next patch, when for the hi-res textures for the item pack, will there be hi-res textures for the Signature Edition items, and is future DLC going to come more quickly (which can be given in PR-speak, so he can answer without actually implying that there will or will not be any future DLC).
Now that we're over this content constipation, give us some info already!

I'm hoping they'll release an Ultimate edition or equivalent for Dragon Age II eventually, with all its DLC and expansion packs. Not only because I'd rather have the game in it's entirety together in a physical package instead of fragmented into disks and downloads, but it's not a good enough game to buy piece by full-price piece.

I really hope so! legacy was superb and I wish bioware keep the new dlc to the same level or better.

I'd rather them focus on a real game rather than these dinky little money grabbers.

Um...One of the live chats said other DLC was in the works but they were NOT going to say any more at the moment.
No Rep would EVER say anything about sales and performance. LOL

Look at the carpets in the statues room from your house. There are four. One of them is now occupied with Legacy's Memento. There are three more left. I got a feeling that we will have 3 more story DLC, then it's possible they're going to do an expansion.

If they're still sticking to the "year round business" plan that was in a EA conference call a while ago, I'd imagine so. That should mean there will be a relatively consistent stream of new content until not long before the next game. (Note: "Year round" is not the same as "yearly")
Nobody really knows anything though. None of us, anyway.

If they are going to do more dlc's or expanions I would like them to be exclusively post campaign as I didn't like the ending to DA2 and want to find out what happens to Hawke after the events and if he/she does meet up with the Warden or the fact they both dissapear is just a coincidence.
