No! Your point (...) is that we can't harm the Reapers without harming ourselves.

Which is essentially what I just said. In defeating the Reapers we'll do catastrophic damage to the Earth.

Oooooh, dammit I wish I'd thought of that.  Nice.

Also, I rounded out the squad up there.  Scope it ouuuuut.  We're gonna beat the naysayers with this stuff.

You do not.

Irrelevant.

Here, let me cite my evidence for you (since you seem to believe that it doesn't exist):
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_world

and your evidence:
masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Eingana

Mine is a bit more impressive.  Make sure you read the suggested pages at the bottom as well, it will delve into specifics, of which your arguments have been sorely lacking.

Oooohhh, just read something interesting on the known features thread :social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/7649262

There will be Reapers of different size!  This will certainly stir things up a bit!

We can always change it, after all, the Reapers havent invaded yet.
Morinth would probably be better as the Black Widow. Kelly can be those little crabby things that cause scale itch.

According to this, it says that Harbinger is the largest ship, at 2 km long. To put this into perspective, the destiny ascension was roughly 3.5 km long. So unless the Reapers have a huge amount of ships in general, there's no reason to assume that they are any larger then ships in the galaxies' fleet.

Facts have this inconvenient way of getting in the way of opinions, you see.

But at the core?  Super-Eezo-Friends aside?  (Who would ideally be the best way to end the Reaper threat)  We actually will be able to beat the Reapers.

Because the facts say that Bioware and EA are interested in continuing the franchise beyond this game.  Sure, there may be a "unify or die" ending if you really want to screw yourself over that badly, just like there was a ``Wow, you were really trying to fail`` ending in ME2.  Who knows?  We don`t have the game in hand yet, so it`s premature and foolish to declare that victory is impossible.

Or perhaps it`s just a way to incite an easily-excitable community to provide some amusement.

But ultimately, yes, there will be a way to beat the Reapers.  People play games to win in the end-- not to have everything they`ve worked for cast aside.  When they abandon that model, they abandon the wishes of the bulk of most people who play games, and thus abandon their money.

It may be poetic to have us lose, and I`m sure that`ll be an option.  But it`s a dumb one.

Actually, that`s perfect.  Kelly has the power of the crab.  Take that how you will.  Morinth is the black widow.

But I stand by my other ones.  Shark-Boy Grunt especially.

In the wiki, it says that it is roughly four times the size of Humanity's largest dreadnought, which is 888 km.

OK, so we've given the Reapers frontal jock-itch, now we just have to change one more to give them an itchy coit.

Edit: No change needed, as Mordin wasnt in any list initially.
Reaper scratching at its bum with laser firing tentacle. Implications *sniff* unpleasant.

okay Saphra just got busted as a troll in the other thread, didn't even notice this reaper one was started by him/her, so we don't have to even try to take its comments seriously

Don't think Saphra is trolling here.

well it doesn't matter if it is one thread or more to be trolled in,  one is enough to be called troll in all threads, truth is I think this thread also got trolled by him/her just the same

Oh man, I forgot about Mordin!  Okay, so he`s gonna have the power of fleas.  He`ll make the Reapers itch real good.

Also: I like that I actually said something serious, and slightly relevant to the thread, but it`s the Super Eezo Friends that keep on going.  Perfect.

Size isn't just a synonym for length.  Besides which, if you watch the ME1 cutscenes of the Citadel attack and compare the DA to the other ships present in them, Sovereign is clearly greater in length.
