If the answer is we do (have a 0% chance of winning), then we surrender.
If the answer is we don't, then we fight.

So, if you admit we have a greater then 0% chance of winning, then I will choose to fight.

No.  I got it.  I just happen to like Humans (the kind that aren't goo) and Asarri (and turians too but I'd rather not list all the races) more than I do Reapers.  Or freaky Reaper/Human hybrids.

I see the elegence implied in a Reaper/Human.  But I'd rather not have a Reaper/Human INSTEAD of the plain old regular kind.  And I'm kinda set on those little blue children....

Yeah.  It's a fight to death for me.  I chosen the option that has a chance for something other than goo.

Depends upon your definition of "living".

And not every human in the galaxy will be Reaped.  We know this from vigil.

Some would be turned into Husks, others will be indoctrinated and forced to gather resources, then left to starve.

Are those fates that you would wish upon your family just so that you could "survive" as something else?
I would rather be completely obliterated than subject my family to any of that.

Regardless, even if that does happen to other humans it will be a necessary sacrifice.

A necessary sacrifice, when there is still a chance (however slim) of victory, and therefor survival on our own terms? Even if Reaper technology is included, we will be in control.
