Not quite. EDI speculated about this possibility, and never portrayed it as fact.

Just because the Reapers did not attempt(or succeed, even) to make a Reaper out of the Protheans does not mean that they did not see the use is using some portion of the population in the manner of the Collectors. We suffer a woeful lack of data regarding that part of the ME history.

I was just trying to show that just because my theory may be wrong, doesn't mean that everyone else is stupid and it is the end of the world.

I'm open to people reasonably objecting to what I say based upon solid evidence.
