Hey everyone! Did you guys have a favorite line that was said during Legacy? I laughed when Varric had commented during the final fight "If he pulls a dragon out of his ass, I'm leaving."

The banter really cracked me up. Isabela commented about not wearing pants, Aveline was confused by a story that relies on character choice, and Varric mentioned that he was telling a story. Some solid fourth wall stuff, and even what seemed to be a jab at the forums. Good stuff!

I metagamed the hell out of it and brought the characters that had the closest connection to the story: Carver (I was a mage, obviously), Anders and Varric. Bringing Anders is awesome for all sorts of reasons -- Awakening callbacks, lots of Warden and mage lore, even having to fight him while all Vengeanced out because he's hearing the call, too, and it's driving him right to the edge. Do yourselves a favor and try it.

You'll also get a hilarious little bit of banter between him and Varric if you do -- I don't know if it's romance- and/or gender-dependent, but Anders will start wondering aloud why he keeps going back to the Deep Roads, and Varric comments it was because he likes trouble (or that Hawke does -- I hit the wrong button and missed a word), and "you think Hawke is cute. Was that a serious question, Blondie?" Anders: "She is pretty cute."

All the conversations between Hawke and Carver are worth it, too, particularly finding out what you do about life in the Wardens. Considering how secretive they're supposed to be about the Joining, the Calling, etc, the Wardens here sure have done a hell of an infodump for you and whoever else you're with.

Agreed, best banter I heard in my playthrough.  I would not be suprrised if there will be future calls on the forums for a Spit Mage speicalization.

This right here.  I was playing "Snarky rogue Hawke" and not sure if it's personality driven or if all players get it, but this was my favorite banter.
And the bit about the "dragon out of his ass".
Varric is pure freaking win in this DLC 

Also some of the more tender moments with GW Bethany in regards to Malcolm, and what he may have felt about her being a mage and a GW.

If you're a snarky Hawke in a relationship with Anders and you have Isabela in the party you get this gem of a convo when choosing the purple "Can we really trust you?" dialog with Larius. (I'm just paraphrasing here)

Hawke: Great, now I have to trust a hopelessly tainted crazy person.
Isabela: No that pretty much sounds like your thing.
Anders: Excuse me?
Isabela: Nothing, nothing.
