this said, i dont see any problem with TMP being aloud to put the armour into DAO as really there is not really a difference between putting the warden armour from DA2 in, and putting the warden armour from the DLC in.

So, there is a way to export .gda files from Legacy's ERF?ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
Yes they are. I'm sorry if I came across as putting forth a theory. I meant there to be no question. I know for a fact, because 1) I've worked with previous DLC files and 2) I've spoken to Lapis herself about it.

The model variation is the same, yes, but not the mesh name. A new robe set using the model variation number is fine, but what I'm trying to do is NOT overwrite the original textures. If you just make it refer to the model variation in the uti, it works for a male, but applies those textures to Janeka and Beth's robes - I want to avoid that. Referring to the wrba mesh in the mmh file doesn't work. I'm thinking it must have a different name.
Sorry if that comes off as rude, that's not the intention, I'm just curious if you've had any luck making it work?

Hi Ish, have you tried it?

Ah, I see what you're getting at. You need a new model variation, then. You'd need a new .mmh and a new .mao. The .mao would be the same, just pointing to your new texture, and the .mmh would also be the same, just pointing to your new .mao. Both would have to have unique filenames, of course, and then you'd add a new entry to item_variations with your new .mmh as the model name.
That should be enough information for you to start experimenting on your own to get it working properly, but if you run into any trouble, I think I could whip up the proper files for you.
The best part of it is that your .mmh references the .msh so you don't have to include it. That way, you're not redistributing Legacy assets, and only people with Legacy will have the model your .mmh would be looking for.
Don't worry about it, you didn't come across as at all rudeSorry if that comes off as rude, that's not the intention, I'm just curious if you've had any luck making it work?

I just can't seem to be able to get a male variation to work - pointing to the wrba msh stays invisible on a male. Would you mind taking a look? You have a hell of a lot more experience than I do.
Yikes, I just can't seem to express myself today!

Can anyone tell me where I might put these so that they override the default DLC textures for these armors?
Thanks in advance!
