FemShep should only wear a cleavage hole if ManShep has his fly open during firefights. Nothing like the little soldier flapping in the wind to distract the enemy, right?

I like FemShep's armor. It's a bit heavy for some classes, but it's way more practical than this. And honestly? I think it looks pretty hot.

Well, let's see here, guys. The outfit is unrealistic? Take the mass effect 2 system for example: You have Armor, Barrier, OR Shields. Only one. So, for a character who uses shields or barriers, why, exactly, is that outfit a problem? It's no worse than Miranda's or Samara's and especially no worse than Jack's.

To be honest I think this design is far better than the blonde shep I voted for.

Thank you.

When I read some, I shake my head. This woman is already more credible than  all the presets and especially new blonde shepard.

Her armor is more credible than Jack, Tali, Thane etc, that everyone loves.

And yes there are barriers and shields.

And if they had read Mass Effect, they would understand that the shields were more important than the armor.

I like this a lot. And why not put it in game? I mean, don't make it standard but I don't see the issue if it can be an alternate armor selection.

blah blah blah cleavage blah blah. Whats the big deal?

Why does femshep have to be sexualized? Can't she just be a female badass marine that happens to have a vagina? I hate to pull the feminist card here but it would be nice not to have to be a sexual object and be seen for merrits.

Are people trying to justify the gaping hole that says "Shoot here" on her chest?

That's like trying to justify Jack's outfit. Which is still ridonkulous.

Why does she have to be a female model with male mannerisms?  Can't she be badass and feminine at the same time?  Because, let's face it.  Femshep is a guy in a girl's body atm.

Or Miranda, or Thane, or, Tali, etc etc.

This hasn't stopped loving them. There is an exaggeration that is made, which is a bit hypocritical.

First About  her appareance that is allegedly not credible. I must be dreaming when I read that. After these last day.
.
After, about  the story of the armor. It is fine.

The complaint about the chest not covered  is the only thing I support and I can understand. but everything else is hypocrisy without a name.

Granted, but even that is better then the boobs-n-badass sterotype we usually get in media.

We must really be starved for believable female heroes if I said that...

How do you have a soldier that's "badass and feminine at the same time"?

Feminine in what way? Appearance? Behavior? Soldiering is pretty aggressive work by its very definition, which traditionally is associated with masculinity. So it would make sense that a "badass female soldier" would have some masculine mannerisms in how she carries herself, deals with problems, and in general presents herself to other people. It simply comes with the territory of being a soldier--a combatant by profession and trade. Aggression, dominance. These are tools of the trade for soldier, and they are traditionally held to be masculine characteristics. That doesn't mean they are the exclusive province of the male gender.

I'm just not sure what people expect FemShep to be. People aren't simply feminisit or male chauvinist caricatures. Men and women in all walks of life exhibit both traditionally masculine/feminine behaviors and mannerisms as a matter of due course every day. Humans are complex creatures, not cartoons.

So yeah, I'm curious what exactly is meant by "badass and feminine at the same time." It seems to imply that feminine characteristics cannot be "badass," since the statement is drawing a distinction between the two. If that's the mindset, I don't think you'll ever get what you claim to want.

How about dignified and pratical.

Sheilds if I'm not mistaken are to deal with projectiles...

Armor such as the N7 marine armor has to deal with climate as well as some times the vacum of space...

I've yet to see spaceships in ME which are just generators with sheilds...

Thinking about it, the FEMSHEP #1 from comic con is the only right FEMSHEP, people dont like her look, but it fits the best.

The quality and detail of the armor is excellent even if the design isn't very practical.

The face makes me want to kill it with fire. :pinched:

Oh god, the "but Miranda and Jack!" argument again...

For the record, the fact that Miranda and Jack wear silly armor for the sake of sex appeal is still ridiculous. But it's more acceptable, at least for me, than Shepard wearing this... thing. The NPC around us are... well, everyone likes to look at Miranda's ass. I like to look at Miranda's ass, even if I get uncomfortable thinking about the reasons it's shoved into my screen. We objectify characters in the game no matter what, heck, Garrus is fetishized by some fans... That's a semi-normal practice.

But when you put the main protagonist in the role of a sexual object it just isn't the same. It's a role-playing game. I don't want to play the role of an intergalactic boob warrior. I'm pretty sure a lot of the females around here don't want it either. And dudebros who want their female protagonist to provide eye candy have mods, they're welcome to do whatever they want with their game in the privacy of their own homes. That's between them and the cleenex box.

Nice art, but clearly impractical for saving the galaxy. Unless femShep's got an adamantium-infused skeleton and/or is able to regenerate flesh at the speed of light, I'm going to say even she wouldn't fare well on the battlefield, especially not within the sights of a talented sniper.

Yeah, yeah, "get yer logic outta my BSN."

Ahem. Image IPB

So... ignoring what I've just said, when are we gonna get some impractically-outfitted non-manShep eye candy? Fair is fair, aye? No? Well, you're no fun. Image IPB

I'd put my duderShep in assless chaps, if they existed. It is only fair.

No. Technically the artwork is gorgeous, but it really just doesn't fit for ME2, much less FemShep. The girl looks too cyberpunky/goth to take seriously any.

Amazing artwork but wouldn't work in in the ME universe. The armor looks more gothic steampunk like Slayer229 stated. Also the weapon is also out of for ME

I like it a lot! Love the hair, the armor...I'm not sure if she belongs in the Mass Effect universe, al least not as Shepard. FemShep is a soldier, she would never go into battle exposed like that. That being said I could maybe see this on Miranda or Jack. Would be cool to have this as a mod when ME3 comes out. Oh, and about the people throwing a hissy fit over this...don't pay attention to them. The world is full of rude, loud mouthed ****s, best to just let the children scream till they get tired.
