A face modelled off of Katee Sackhoff. Kind of complete the whole BSG/Quarian thing. Bioware, please don't punt on a face reveal after 5 years of Tali-tease.

I believe that they hyped up Tali's face enough that it should be shown, not the ugly broad with a interesting name though. For them not to show tali's face and show it early in the game is a cope out. Lots of fans will be confused by the exclusion of her face, I continue to wonder why was it something that needed to be hidden in the first place.

There is one clear answer. At the time BW didn't know how Quarians should look or how they wanted them to look. Not revealing will show that they caved on the pressure they themselves created out of nothing. People are going to be disappointed no matter what so why hide it ?

BioWare is probably gonna show off her face. They tweeted about it a while ago.

Make her look like her VA. I would be cool with that.

I don't mind if they show off her face, as long it's not similar to those fan arts, with white eyes, white skin and some techy symbols on the cheeks!

i'd say quarians at their current state are beings with a very pale complexion and smooth skin due to them being inside a suit almost their whole lives. they are most likely bald (if not they most likely shave it once adulthood is reached) as well if only because it would be more practical to have no hair when using the suit which is basically all of their adult life.

i'd say they would resemble a mix of these

on shape:

on color and complexion:

I don't think the quarians are gonna look like what Nightcobra said. You can see the quarians nose and eyes through their mask, which kinda tells something about the face! It has the shape of a human face.

Rannoch, the Quarian homeworld, is a more arid planet that orbits a hotter sun than ours.

As such the Quarians probably shouldn't have a white or pale complection. They should have a darker skin tone. Granted, they've been living aboard ships for 300 years but I'm not sure that is long enough for them for their skin tone to have changed.

Colorful skin tones have been done before (Asari and Drell), so I'd give the Quarians brown or a dark grey skin tone.

According to the novels they are very human in appearance.

The novels don't say that at all.

The novel states that they have some similar facial features, such as a nose and eyelids, which we already knew. That doesn't mean they look practically human under the helm. The novel also notes that they don't have ears like we do. Their ears seem to be less pronounced or internal, like some lizards. The phrase used to describe them was "what passes for the Quarian version of an ear."

My guess is that if the Quarians are ever revealed they won't be so alien in appearance to be completely unattractive, but will be more alien in appearance than the Asari. They'd probably combine around the same level of human and alien features as the Drell.

I'm guessing they're something between black and brown, with the shape of a human's face. Maaaybe some techy stuff too. Hope it's not ugly tho, but it's probably not, Shep didn't give a **** about her face when her helmet was removed. :bandit:

They also have lips, and similar skeletal structure (as seen in that N7 mission with the quarian).

Features that the Drell for example also have. The Drell have lips, a nose, a mouth, and a similar facial bone structure as humans, but don't look human.

Some people misinterpret the vague description of Quarians in the novel to mean that they are practically identical to humans, but that wasn't what the passage was saying at all.

Are you joking? Yes they do. Even the second sentence in the wiki claims they do.

From the wiki:

Quarians are generally shorter and of slighter build than humans. Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which include a thumb and an index finger, as well as three toes on each foot. Their lower legs are bowed backwards significantly, compared to asari or humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".

Nowhere does it say they look identical to humans.

They should not look like this:

1. I was referring to the bolded portion.
2. Looking at a quarian skeleton, the information we have on the wiki and what we can see in game, theres no reason for them to not look that way.
3. The reason it does not say they that look similar to humans is because the quarian being described was disfigured and so the information was vague. From what we do know, however, theres no reason for them to not look very human.

There is a very good reason for them to not look very human: They aren't human.

They are  species wholly unrelated to humans that evolved on a different planet from ours, with a different enviroment. The notion that they would look like human females is pretty far fetched.

The similaries should end at bone structure, IMO.

Really? Thats your reeason?
Drell and especially Asari are very similar to humans as well.
And from what we know and what we can see, there is no reason they should not.
I am not saying they should look identical to humans, but theres no reason they cant be very similar.
