Ok to make a long story short: Got back from work, turned on my system, played for like 15 min and bam it froze. Then when i manually restarted my console I had the corrupted data so I lost mye 50+ hour campaign. AFTER ALMOST A DAY of researching the best thing, I learned the following things that "supposely" avoid crashes/corrupted data.

1) Turn off auto save
2) Turn off connection to EA servers
3) Restart your game every couple of hours to clear cache(or something like that)
4) BACK UP data to a USB or external drive.

Now, all I would like to know are the following:

a) Any of you still experiencing these annoying corruptions even after doing the 4 steps above?....I dont want to restart from scratch and going through the hassle of backing up my data(which I find annoying) knowing that it will still happen. Even though backing up data should save me from replaying again, does this still happen?

B) Anything else I need to know to enjoy this game without having my experience ruined by a bug?

Thanks so much in advance, I can live with the ocassional crappy audio sync, but these crashes make the game unplayable since it ruins your progress.

1. I never had corruption/ freezing problems before the patch.
2. For those less fortunate they patched it.
What I do want is Conrad Verner and a format that works with my SD tv since the text is blurry(I don't play with subtitles but its annoying in menus) and the screen is cut off a little bit. While I realise that they can't fix this in a patch I want a SD tv friendly mode for ME3.

Got this game a month ago. On the first playthrough I had a noticeable issues with audio sync, but was generaly glitch free. Lately the game has almost become unplayable. Audio sync delay 90% of the time, game lag in and out of combat. Just now had issues with the shadow broker where there was some crazy glitching with enemies and severe combat lagging. I have yet to see the game crash but with how things have been progressing, I dont think it will be long.

i borrowed ME2 on ps3 from a freind And i put in and said install game data, i clicked ok and has taken me hours to download 1%, so i thought it might've crashed so i reboot the ps3 then i did this a couple of times , once i left in on the whole night and it had only installed 3%. then i googled around and fojnd that it installs best on new/goodps3, some had full formatted and said it helped alot, so i did a 7hour full format and then i pit ME2 in and i have been sittin here since , progress: 0% in 1hour
