I loved the way you could take your class weapon and get it upgraded, and how it made you choose between four, it was very enjoyable, and made you want to go back and do it again, to see the difference's I could make. I should have written down most of this last night. I was dreaming up ideas before I fell asleep. I had the urge to run down stairs and jump on the laptop, and  get them out of my head, I'm hoping as I get started most of them will come back to me. Weapon upgrades

:bandit:Weapon & Armor Upgrades:bandit:
I say we do away with runes, we exchange them with quest, that lead us to area's with ancient evils, or rare mobs, something that takes a skill of some sort to reach, be it a puzzle, or tuff battle, use of tactics.. we then receive an item of some kind or material that we can add to our current weapon. That would also open the possibility of some kind of "Crafting mechanics" say we find a lair of electric using dragons. at then end a heroic dragon emerges, and we slay the mighty foe, it would then drop a few items for use. It would drop an electrical sac that we could then apply to weapon. which would then give that weapon an Electric + 5 or whatever it may be it would also add a cool partical system, or material to the weapon that would look amazing. The Electric Dragon. Lets call him *Sizzlor The Shocker* would also drop  Charged Scales  that we could then take and apply it to the armor for some electrical resistance to a piece of armor. I have several ideas for monsters, and upgradable weaponary, and armor. because if its our weapon, we want to make it ours, not switch every 10 min because we find a more powerful one.

So what do you guys think? is that something you would like to see apart of the next Dragon Age? or even future DLC? comment, Curious as to what you guys think!

Were you completly lucid when you thought this up..? Lol. I actually think it's a very interesting idea. I've never really liked the whole rune thing with the DA games. It always seemed like a throw in idea that wasn't done well. Would you only be able to do this to the item once, but indefinetly to any?

What about if they did with DA what they're doing with ME. Instead of junk weapons we forge our own weapons with different parts (hjandle, blade, pommel. etcc...) That would be awesome. You fight a boss love his handle design but love your blade design?...than just find a workbench and combine the two to make you own weapon.

I vaguely rememeber a quest in Morrowind where you had to do something like that. I thought it was a really cool idea :-).

it does seem like an interesting idea, it would save the trouble of having the same weapons with different stats

You could do it multiple times and keep upgrading as you went with the same weapon, as well as with any weapon. Like your dw swords? but either of them have the penetration you like? Go out and find the "Beseker Bronto" he would drop *Sharp Horn fragment" whammmoo add it to your blades, +5 armor penetration. Ps he would also drop. Bronto blood, or maybe even Thick Bronto Hide and the blood could be used to make bronto armor potion, and the hide could be used to add + whatever onto the gear of your choice...

Extremely Lucid

Bioware.. are you reading
