Oh boy, I sincerely hope the team doesn't go all "Michael Bay" on us with ME3.

Speaking of which, if these new lithos represent the transition to ME3 art, and apparently they do, then count me among the underwhelmed. Both feel very "industrial." I don't get the sense of awe or wonder that I do when viewing the Citadel or Illium.

There's this one thing I've considered but along with the signature from the artist, wouldn't it be FREAKIN AWESOME to get it signed by the voice actors? I mean, I would seriously love a litho of Miranda signed by Yvonne...or a Liara, Tali, etc.

I'd like it signed by the person who wrote the character as well.

Excellent idea, DaosX. If that could be done, it would be awesome.

Bit disappointed in both of these. I don't think I'll be buying them. Was looking forward to the Dead Reaper, but it's just a bit underwhelming. I actually prefer to artwork of the Prototype SR2; the colours and use of light is really nice, it's just a shame the actual contents of the artwork isn't that appealing.

Oh well, not really complaining as such. The lithos have turned into such a cash cow that I don't mind being super selective in the ones I decide to pick up. I have two frames left, and I totally don't mind waiting for some awesome ME3 lithos to fill them. No doubt there's gonna be plenty more lithos in the future.

Agreed.  They lack the scale and imagination of the first two.

Actually I'd forgotten about that: I may just wait for the unsigned one to appear and save myself the stress.  It's not like I don't already have enough signed lithographs by now; there is a certain degree of irritation that I'll likely pay the same as I did a year or so back for something that's unsigned and unlimited, but this time I just want the artwork.

You know what Im starting to feel the same as well.  While I do like the Dead Reaper I could certainly live with having it and the Prototype as an unsigned mini.  Especially if they charge $50 each.

Thing is you have to ask is will they do it as a mini in the future?  Thats the risk.

People already found a support ticket you could open for an unsigned 18x24 SR-2 and Dead Reaper. When they found out these lithos were going to come out before announced. Not exactly sure though if they plan to continue with the release of standard size unsigned ones though.

( I actually forgot about them, I would get the dead reaper unsigned if the continue with that route.)

I think it's completely BS that:
1. They're making more signed ones than before (300, now 500)
2. They're increasing the prices. ($30 used to be standard. Now it's $50. The oversized litho cost was $50, now it's $80)
3. They're making unsigned ones now and apparently they're the same size as the signed ones (judging from the leaked Dead Reaper/SR-2 info)

I might get the unsigned, but not if theres only a ten buck difference ill stick with the signed. I doubt they'll be too hard to nab since people are talking about them like theyre the new Pragia and Purgatory.

Was Archangel even one of the 2 character lithos we suggested, is that even happening now? *lip quivers*

well, i am not a huge fan of both of them. But Normandy will find his way into my house i think. i dont have any normandy lithograph and i like the colours.
dead reaper ... well the space scene von me2 would be much more awesome.
also in my oppionion, its "too much" the reaper itsself well, doenst look really impressive to me. then shepard in front AND the normandy in the back.... just one of these "itemes" would be enough in my oppionion.

my other problem next i will be at a "team building" seminar with my university in the middle of nowhere... i hope the normandy doesent sell to fast.

Kinda disappointed with both of these...but since I'm a Normandy nut, I'll probably end up getting the Prototype anyway.

Well, Ms Domino said more information would be coming, so pretty soon we should know. I'm guessing since we saw a 2 pack was in the system, that it will be a split day release. Friday (or whatever day it ends up being) may only be the 2 packs with another day being the individuals. This has been the practice of late when they have a multipack and singles option.

Very cool! Unfortunately, I won't be buying as much as I'd like to, I actually need to sell some of my lithos, which I'll be doing soon once I stop being lazy.

Well she isnt really a collector, we would never dream of using a water bottle as a paperweight for it :P

But on a serious note is anybody else getting tired and annoyed by the continuation of "ME2" lithos?

Were well on our way to ME3 and everyone getting excited about that so why is ME2 still being pumped at us? Additionally this Dead Reaper is clearly what I would consider a concept for ME3 and it still has the Normandy in Cerberus colours.

Come on Bioware, start giving us some ME3 content and concept art!
