I've only played through Legacy once so far. I did it in Act III, taking Warden Bethany, Varric & Sebastian with me. I left my Romanced Anders behind, sounds like from what people are saying that I missed a trick with that one!
Aside from what others have already said about Bethany and Varric, Sebastian gave Bethany a very strong compliment about her appearance (basically Flirting), and he vocally recommends to Hawke that they side with Janeka rather than Larius.
