Compared to DAO, there were very few. Its a shame, I always thought they were the most interesting demons.I propose DA3 has more Desire Demons, as well as one for LI.

This

I think they're the most thoroughly well designed demons in terms of their appearance and presentation.

I thought they were all over the dang place.
No, what we need is more PRIDE demons. Those guys are cool.

Desire demons also depend on the quests and if you have the Sebastian DLC. Off the top of my head.

Desire Demon during Night Terrors in Act 2.

Desire Demon in Sebastian's Act 2 Quest.

Desire Demons spawning in other random fights through the game. Rage Demons seem the most common random spawn but occasionally there is a Desire showing up. For example I think there is one in Act 1 during the missing recruits quest when fighting Tahronie. Don't hold me to that though. I just could have swear there is one in the back of that fight. Maybe not.

As scripted demons go, they're usually the more vocal and at least interesting. Rage Demons are probably seen the most though. All those fire demons coming at you. Not including Abominations of course.

Pride demons are interesting. I'd really love it if Mouse came back for a mage warden, for example.

I don't know that a desire demon would really be a "love interest". It's a desire demon. It's a demon. Demons (and spirits) don't seem to do complex, and a certain amount of complexity in emotions seems to be needed for loving/being loved.

Oh are the demon spawns in regular fights random? I thought I saw more of them in my last playthrough than in other ones. Hmm.
But yeah I see them in almost any quest with a blood mage/demon theme happening. There's only the one that talks to you (in the Fade I guess), but there are lots that attack you.

The only 2 that converse with the characters are just during Night Terrors & Sebastians Act 2 quest. The rest that I recall were just random spawns like so many other randoms like flaming rage demons and other types in the mix of all the options. Being that if they wanted a ranged demon spawn they are limited to basically 2 types afterall and one of them is a desire demon.

I personally think sloth demons are awesome. I don't recall seeing any of them in DA2 (although it's possible that I've just forgotten Image IPB).

When you go to the Fade to save Feynriel, yeah? Sloth demon there, I think.

All I say is the Shades! A sea of Shades! Staring. Judging. Attacking. Honestly where are all these **** nuggets coming from.

OT:I would like less demons overall who ever thought making the Circle part of Dragon age into a full game was about as clever as poking a bear, that happens to be a Qunari army.

I wouldn't care for MORE. But actually interacting with them and being able to make deals would be nice.

I think others have already pointed out how many DA2 boasted. And I don't know that we want too many in a single game - too much of a good thing and that good thing becomes wasted or loses its impact. Soon people would be complaining about Desire Demons being as rampant as Shades or ninja-bandits... Image IPB

As a LI, I don't think it would work. At least not for any long-term romance. It would be a passing fancy, a trick of the demon to gain something from the PC. Quite the adventure, yes, and super sexy at that, but ultimately, a Desire Demon is (as of yet) a creature of ambition and temptation. They feed off of the secret desires of mortals. Once sated, what then? There would only be so much longevity in such a romance.

I don't know that those desires are so very "secret" then. Besides, Isabela has an insatiable appetite. It takes someone with Hawke's prowess and dedication to meet those needs and maintain that satisfaction level. Which makes it a win-win for all involved. Image IPB
