26 years old, female, and I play almost exclusively FemShep (did roll a MaleShep once s/s got announced for ME3

).
I don't think I have any real problem 'relating' to male characters per se, it's just that I play a man in every other game I play. So why not take the opportunity to play as women in BioWare games when I finally get an option? Not to mention... fiddling with the character creator and stuff is more fun when creating a girl. I guess it's because of what a friend said a while back, how there is a rich and wide world of fashion developed for women over the ages, while men are only now beginning to get a proper fashion of their own? Hence why dressing up Barbie dolls is more fun than Ken dolls... more you can do with them, kinda xD
Have had a few problems regarding my gender and people online, in several ways. But it gets better with every passing year, really. Here's to hoping the trend continues, so that my daughters can game without being asked rude things or being considered trash the moment her gender becomes known!
... any of you other gamer girls ever feel like you almost don't have any female friends IRL btw due to difference in general interests? I mostly associate with just one, perhaps two girls depending on how you define it. But I meet lots of guy friends almost every day. I dunno, just wondering if I'm alone with that ^^;
