I've never had a phantom update before, but now have two that refuse to go away:




Two invites from the same person to the same group with no way to Reject.  Accepting doesn't add you to the group, it only sends a request to join (the two group invitations have not gone away, either):




Because I couldn't get rid of the Updates, I sent a join request and did join; however, I cannot leave.  You can see I'm a member of the group, but there is no way to leave the group, it still indicates 'Join the Group':




Is there a way to not only get rid of these phantom updates, but to leave the group as well?

i have 7 of these. There was a fix posted by somebody, but it didn't work for me. I'll post it if I find the thread.

yeah saw that one, but I use FireFox, I refuse to use any other browser. heh.

Thanks. There are some other things I could try if I find myself annoyed again by ghost updates xD

I had the problem, but then I PM'd Jeff Rousell. It took a week for him to respond, but hey... it's fixed now...

Same problem here. But I'm not holding my breath that the web people are going to do anything about it, since they don't seem to do anything about ANYTHING.
