Moving on, I'd be happy if my favorite characters are alive and well and reaper thing gets over in a remarkable/surprising way. Also it will be nice if Shepard gets to live a happy life with his/her LI.

a happy ending with marriage and what not
a bad ending with having a doomed Earth
a bittersweet ending with the deaths of many loved ones and a final epic win
i want surprises, i want unexpected outcomes, i want Bioware's brilliance on my monitor!

Hope for the future - Earth and civilisation is saved,and the reapers have retreated for now. Shepard has moved from annoyance to massive problem. But Reapers are beatable, and believed in in
Sacrifice - Civilization saved, but at least humanity fallen and Shepard dead. Reapers also retreated.
Shot in the Dark- Loss but more knowledge added to the beacons
Cycle Unbroken The Reapers win.

I'd also like a complete victory but can't see how that's possible.

 I want an ending where Shepard wins through both Renegade and Paragon paths but I also want one where the Reapers win, I think that would be a great alternative. i also want more "Virmire style" choices wher we have to make sacrifices because in ME2 it was possible to complete the suicide mission against very low odds with everyone surviving. P.S I also want Shepard promoted to Captain, a strange request but the fact that despite what he has done he is still a lieutenant commander.

The happy ending needs to be there, but be truly tough to get, even if you do all side quests, etc. Every ending inbetween, too.

I want to see other species help out with no seconds wasted on debate if my Shepard saved everyone possible through diplomacy and decisions. and supported the Council and saved them. In this case I want to be able to save Earth with the least damage/causalties recieved. I want this epic/heroic ending for my main Shepard who managed to persuade crime lords to turn into samaritans, have the whole crew rescued from Collectors, and made peace between geth and quarians.

I want to see species turn their backs on humanity and gather their own forces while Earth gets destroyed if my Shepard was an arrogant, insulting anarchic regenate, with high damage galaxy-wide.

I want to be able to gather allies but still lose Earth if my Shepard didn't befriend/spare Wrex, the rachni, and both the geth and quarians, in this case humanity would only survive due to its frontier colonies.



I want to see Cerberus try to dominate humanity and fail, as the other species fight it and humanity gets doomed because of TIM'S wishful megalomaniac thinking and bad preparations on economic and diplomatic scale.

I want to see Cerberus building a human racist Empire with Shepard's support and guidance, subduing everyone else with carefully used reaper tech once the invasion force is defeated. Maybe a few other species like the rachni could be allied to humans trying to carve out/rebould their own empire with human help.

I want to see the reapers stopped, Cerberus making a coup, but humanity getting isolated in a standoff ala Cold War because the weakened humanity lacking allies also lacks resources to take on the other species.



I also want to see Reapers dominating the galaxy, because the weak and disorganized lesser races (including humans) messed up badly, see them finalize their current reaping cycle then await the next one.

I want to see something unexpected, something that was hidden along the three games in the shadows, a suprising ending.

I want to see an option to reprogram/hand over to geth the reaper species, so they may become from genocidial terminators the new guardians of life in the galaxy independent of any government or influence to keep them unbiased, I guess a new silvery color for their ships/bodies would fit this ending.








Of course on "lesser importance" I want all romance options have a good, proper ending, with possible marriage and/or kids, I want to see Tali's face, I want to be able to heal Thane or see him die from illness, and I want to heal the krogan or see their genocide if I so suggest to the rachni as an evil renegade.

(Even those who complain about showing Tali's face have to realize Bioware will have to show quarians sooner or later in later games anyway, and they can still retcon their looks later if they want to anyway, as they did in Dragon Age, I believe there would be a greater outrage if they do not show her face than if they do after 2-3 games. I myself would like to see her look somewhat like Trance Gemini from Andromeda, but that is only my personal wish, and I would still want to see her face if Bioware decides to make her "ugly".)

I want like about alternate endings ranging from Happy rainbow endings to destroyed universe ending. The amount of survived squad mate should also effect it.

Though personally I am hoping for an ending where many lives are lost and extinction is close and only Shepard can stop it. Kinda like Transformers 3 to be honest.

Personally, I want to get that ending with the lots of blue kids. Still I want the other endings. I want to know what happened to all the major players in the game. If Shepard dies, the burial in space thing -- shoot the casket out the photon torpedo tube... lol... Endings ranging from the first one to utter despair and defeat. I'm hoping for about 6 different endings. One can hope, right?

My end would be one that we can start an Earth Empire.

Mass Effect 3 should end with the Reapers completely destroyed and never to return. Since it has been confirmed that ME3 is the end of Shepard's story, the game should end with Shepard defeating the Reapers. The victory should be total, and not a case of Shepard just temporarily postponing the extinction cycle.

That being said I also don't think the ending should be all sunshine and rainbows. The cost of victory should be high, both for the civilizations of the galaxy and for Shepard's team. There should be billions of dead, cities and planets reduced to rubble, and Shepard's team should be bled white. If it were up to me at least half of them would be dead. I think also that Shepard or Anderson should end up sacrificing themselves to save the galaxy.

Like DAO I think there should be epilogues telling you what happened to the various surviving characters and civilizations, post ME3.

I hope for several endings based on your decisions throughout all three games. Some will be sad, some bittersweet, some happy. That way the player can strive for the ending they wish. Of course there will be one ending in which the Reapers win, but that should be for making really really bad choices. The ending would also differ depending on if Shepard was Paragon or Renage.

Now, the most likely ending should be the bittersweet one, in which the Reapers are defeated but at a heavy cost. I still think the happy ending should be possible, but you should have to work hard to get it.

And now imagine what will be going on forums after release. "Why do I have to do all sidequests to get my happy ending?!", "I've played game three times and still cannot get my happy ending, you suck Bioware!" and so on. Most of customers will play ME3 only once and good if they do more than 50% of sidequests and still they want their happy ending. So be ready to get SM difficulty.
For me rainbow and butterflies ending would be a disappointment. Whole trilogy Bioware tried to scare us, but suddenly they won't be able to kill anyone from Shepard's team. Saren was more dangerous than Reapers themself, such irony.
