Samara's mini-semi-romance in ME2 was so beautiful and interesting. She's such a charming and alluringly "deep" character. No matter what anyone says, I think deep down she very genuinely loved, or at least cared very very much for Shepard (if Paragon, anyway). I think she's just afraid of getting romantically involved with anyone because of all the turmoil she's been through with her old spouse and her daughters, and doesn't feel she can handle a relationship like that. But I believe her feelings are still there regardless.
Are we gonna at least see a cameo of her in 3?

There's already a Samara support thread here, if you're interested.
Even if Samara has those feelings, I wouldn't belittle the personal choice she made to not be in a relationship. She's very much aware of who she is, by now.

I'm not saying you are, but if she made that choice, my Shepard wouldn't belittle her decision. He trusts that she knows who she is, so that settles the matter.
