Yeah um, this is the first time this has happened. Well okay not really the first but, okay well sometimes, when I'd try going into a new area or a house or anything that needs that big brown loading screen thing, it'd take a looong time then suddenly crash. And by crash I mean freeze completely, and I can't use my windows button or CTRL + ALT + DLT or move the cursor or -.- You get the picture. Anyway that only happened on occasion and I figured out how to fix it by just putting my laptop into hibernation then turning it on again. But I just made a new character, a Dalish Elf, and I tried going into the Wilds for that um True Blood quest thing, but it just freezes on the loading screen and I can't use windows or CTRL + ALT blah blah blah. >.< If it happens when the game's full screen then I can't even put my comp into hibernation. But if it happens when it's Windowed then I can't run any application. I can't open up CTRL ALT DELETE or Task Manager or -.- My Documents. Nothing. It just freezes for several minutes until I get that ">^--^< Dragon Age Origins has stopped responding! Would you like me to close the application?" prompt thingie. >.< So yeah I don't know why it happens the only change I've made is um changing the texture thing from High to Low to make the game run/load faster.

Sorry, you just haven't offered what is needed yet. Examine the sticky that starts with "Read First", and follow that guide. Also, let's make it a habit here to use standard business style spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and paragraph breaks.

You still need to include the information detailed in the Read-First thread if anyone is going to have a prayer of helping you. A huge number of things can cause the game to crash. Providing that information helps us narrow down the possible causes.

As this is a peer support forum, meaning that we are all just fellow gamers volunteering our time to help, making your post as easy to read as possible is a huge help. It is easy to miss something important in a giant block of text with all kinds of special characters.
