I suppose it's weird to already be talking about the next DLC so soon after one just came out, but now that Legacy is out it does give us a benchmark! I'm really curious about whether it sets a trend for future DA2 DLCs, and whether we'll get to know more and more about the Hawkes (or anyone else's backstory).
My favorite part of this DLC was how rewarding it was on a character interaction level (especially if you brought your sibling along for the ride) -- depending on how you played Hawke, the flavor of the DLC could be very different, and changed how you related to the Hawke legacy. I thought this was a good direction to take the story, and certainly helped me get more invested in Hawke-as-a-character, not just Hawke-as-a-self-insert. Learning more about Papa Hawke would make me happy too, since I like what I've seen so far.
I'd be thrilled to see future DLCs take us to places like the Tevinter Imperium or Starkhaven (merry band of misfits on a road trip? Yes please). MAPS THAT ARE NOT KIRKWALL make me very happy indeed. Hell, I wouldn't even mind a sea voyage or a trip back to Ferelden. More pretty, pretty scenery and worldbuilding are things I look forward to.
What I'm waffling about is whether I want to see stories that happen within DA2's timeline (things to fill up the three-year gaps and such) or post-game. I think the former would go a long way towards making the game feel like a deeper experience, but the latter... well, obviously I want to know what on earth Hawke's gotten up to. I surmise that's something best left to DA3 or an actual expansion, though.
AFTER LEGACY: What do you want to see in future DLCs?

More choices for Hawke! Ones that can have an impact on the world!
In Warden's Keep we got to choose between Avernus or Sophia. While the end result was the same (Veil is mended) it impacted Thedas in some way. Avernus moreso than Sophia.
Here we got to choose between Larius and Janeka. Again, the end result was the same (Corypheus "dies"), but something seems to indicate that which side you picked will have an impact on the world. Especially Larius being different (possessed by Corypheus anyone?)
Haven't yet done a second playthrough, so I don't know (and don't want to be spoiled!) how the other 3 ways you can play it are different, as I sided with Larius completely.

I`d like to see something involving Varric, the Merchant Guild and Kal Sharok, possibly something involving the lyrium smuggling trade, though I find that highly unlikely seeing as Kal Sharok is so far away. (You`d have to travel through all of Nevarra to get there) Allthough, that could`ve been a nice explanation to what Hawke was doing between Act 2 and 3?
Another option is something about Isabella and Rivain, maybe something from her past (husband?)
Rivain is relatively close, a boat trip across Rialto Bay.
Haven`t really thought about it much, as Legacy is so fresh still. But this was the first that came to mind when I saw the topic.

I'd love to see the ruins of Arlathan and since the Tervinters sunk the city that would mean going underground. That or Finding a third surviving Thaig somewhere.

The Warden meeting Hawke. And possibly Cassandra/Leliana finally catching up to them both.

Oh geez, yes please. I liked Merrill's stories about the Dread Wolf; I think it would be interesting (to say the least) to bump into him.
Also, the Eluvian quests were a total tease. As ill-advised as Merrill's intentions were, I really wanted to see something cool happen once it was properly fixed. Ah, well. :[

I would like to see more Flemeth. She is my favorite! I would also prefer a continuation after the endgame. How many times can Varric forget things? LOL Anyway, anything will be welcome!

I want to know if humans and elves lived together in peace at one point. Or if there is another one of the original Tevinter magisters locked away somewhere.I wonder what other secrets the Wardens are hiding.More background on Flemeth or possibly meeting up with Morrigan again.I'd like the devs to shed some light on how the Seekers operate and how they came about.More information on the Old Gods.An in-depth explaination on the primeval thaigs.Eventually I want to be able to visit Weisshaupt fortress because npc's speak of it as being this ominous and scarey structure with goings-on not many people know about. Very hush-hush.

More Fenris! Preferably something involving the Imperium.
Something set post-main campaign that gives you the option to recruit new companions. Like, say, a mage who's not an insane terrorist.
Something of Awakening scope, only done more like Legacy, that feels complete.

I have a feeling it's going to be that 'Exalted March' expansion everyone were talking about. There were hints to it even in the main game.
If such a thing ever becomes released, then it's a good place to address both the mage/Templar/Chantry conflict, and the darkspawn-related storyline.

After I've thought about it more. You know what I really like in a DLC. Dragons. I mean it's called "Dragon Age" and you can generally count all the dragons you have encountered between Origins and now on one hand. Flemeth and other shape shifters do not count.

If you mean High Dragons, well yeah. Too many extremely large, extremely powerful predators and there wouldn't be enough prey to sustain them. Nature tends to balance itself out that way.
And we seem to encounter plenty of the smaller ones. They are literally swarming all over the Bone Pit. Anders even comments at one point: "No wonder they call it the Dragon Age. The bloody things are everywhere."
Although I wouldn't mind more dragons in the future. Dragons are always fun.
