AFTER LEGACY: What do you want to see in future DLCs?

Regardless of the type of DLC, I definitely want to see the same level of companion interaction. Having so much banter made Legacy for me.

I didn't even like DA 2, but I'd buy such a physical copy to support the format.

Otherwise a deep road expedition into the long lost thaig to shed some light on that part of the history / lore. That was the biggest development that begun to occur regarding the lore, and nothing occured with it, or followed up with it.
Edit: Wow. That post sounded really redundant!

Oh definately, main game was kinda like a hop, skip and a jump...filling in the blanks would be greatmiskatonica wrote...
What I'm waffling about is whether I want to see stories that happen within DA2's timeline (things to fill up the three-year gaps and such) or post-game. I think the former would go a long way towards making the game feel like a deeper experience, but the latter... well, obviously I want to know what on earth Hawke's gotten up to. I surmise that's something best left to DA3 or an actual expansion, though.
Lol, this reminds me of dialogue I heard Merril spout last night for the first time when on the wounded coast "Maybe more people would come here if they called it the happy coast"Torax wrote...
A Deadly Armada of Demon Pirates attacking a Beach that Hawke was visiting with her Merrill. "Why can't we go someplace nice like a Beach?"
This would be good, perhaps some more in depth background on the characters, more bonding...darkrose wrote...
More Fenris! Preferably something involving the Imperium.
Something set post-main campaign that gives you the option to recruit new companions. Like, say, a mage who's not an insane terrorist.
Something of Awakening scope, only done more like Legacy, that feels complete.
Lol, I would pay a sovereign to see thatdragonflight288 wrote...

After I've thought about it more. You know what I really like in a DLC. Dragons. I mean it's called "Dragon Age" and you can generally count all the dragons you have encountered between Origins and now on one hand. Flemeth and other shape shifters do not count.
If you mean High Dragons, well yeah. Too many extremely large, extremely powerful predators and there wouldn't be enough prey to sustain them. Nature tends to balance itself out that way.
And we seem to encounter plenty of the smaller ones. They are literally swarming all over the Bone Pit. Anders even comments at one point: "No wonder they call it the Dragon Age. The bloody things are everywhere."
Although I wouldn't mind more dragons in the future. Dragons are always fun.

- A storyline related to the mercenaries or smugglers, depending on who you chose.
- A DLC that will allow us to make some choices that will affect the ending, like an ending which you won't take sides.
- A DLC with a plot leading to the third game OR the expansion itself, could be the start of the Exalted March.
- An arc or something, related to the Expansion, in which we would visit Starkhaven and deal with Sebastian's fate once and for all. But getting this expansion would mean that The Exiled Prince would become free to people who never purchased it before. (I'm sure people will protest, but this is the only way everyone will be happy.)
- A separate storyline where Hawke sacrifices himself/herself instead of the twins. You'd be forced to play as one of the twins, depending your starting job and this would lead to another story.

And then an Expansion like Awakening to finish DA 2 off.
After killing the magistre in Legacy, and depending who you sided with, Larius or the Mage Warden.
They both say something about i feel brandnew, reborn, somtin like that. And he/she said that he/she wil go to the warden commander?
They are possesed by the magistre, so ext DLC will be about that i quess?
Rescqueing or revenging a Warden Commander

And I also want to romance Athenril and Cassandra.
Too many characters that need to be made companions and LIs!
Oh and Maraas. We desperately need a Tal-Vashoth horned Kossith companion/LI.

Seconded.
Would like to see some sort of scenario which let's us play out the first year in Kirkwall, would feature the sibling and Aveline as main companions working for the smugglers or the mercenaries.
A seafaring expedition, possibly further north than the Free Marches involving Isabela and may possibly run into more Qunari.
And...maybe something connecting Merril, the eluvian and the search for more answers from Flemeth or a surprise encounter with Morrigan.

But I friggin LOVE her, she was my favorite character in the campaign, She only needed a short time to impress me...
I'd really love her to be a companion, but I think it's better for her to appear in the next title as a full fledged character and not suffer from *Origin DLC* syndrom...

Lol. I always play as female Hawke so wasn't thinking of romancing her, but yes would be a good option for someone not related...and if we are talking new LI's here I put my hand up for Nathaniel!!
Having Maraas as a companion would be great, he was the only Qunari I liked this time round.

More stuff involving the sibling. Maybe something involving the circle/templars.
When it comes to the sibling, I still want an 'Escape From Lothering' DLC, showing the build up to the Hawke family running to Kirkwall, something that would give poigiency to the death, though it would probably be difficult to implement properly. But maybe another family based DLC like Legacy, only this one set firmly in Act III, where the sibling asks you to help out. It could even tie up a handful of the loose ends in that Act that would add a few touches of consistency in the final stretch. Granted, it would have to work around the sibling being either dead or with the Wardens, but I'm sure something could be figured out.
An expansion pack about learning the origins of the primeval thaig would be nice, one that has Hawke joining up with Charade (I'd like to see her as a full party member and appearing in DA3, but I'm not sure how the logistics of her joining up there will be if there's a new protagonist). It might even work out to involve Flemeth to some extent. I love Kate Mulgrew's performance and eagerly anticipate every scene Flemeth appears in, and I so regret that she only appears in the first third of the game. Maybe even an appearance from Morrigan, given that she can be seen in the pages of Varric's book at the close.
I'd also like to see post-game Hawke return to Ferelden, a DLC with a plot that allows us to revisit the places of DAO and see how they've recovered in the time since the Blight. I'm not sure how what the plot would be, but it would be nice to visit the old familiar places of DAO.

Yes please! When Alistair (king) asked Hawke would she consider returning to Ferelden because they could use people like her there I wanted an option to go "Wait here while I go pack my bags!"

I'm all for that!
There is so much that Bioware can do with Dragon Age. I'd love to see other places; but, Ferelden will always hold the key to my heart.
I'd like to see another whole game back in Ferelden. If they don't do this, then anywhere is fine with me. I hope we get an expansion, hopefully in time for Xmas with the new book.
If we go to Orlai, I hope we see Leliana
If we go to Rivain, Isabela of course
If we go to Antiva, Zevran, naturally
You get the picture.
I'd also like to see Charade and Cassandra both as companions. I'd also like to visit Sebastian in Starkhaven.
Surpise me Bioware.

I`d like to see something involving Varric, the Merchant Guild and Kal Sharok, possibly something involving the lyrium smuggling trade, though I find that highly unlikely seeing as Kal Sharok is so far away. (You`d have to travel through all of Nevarra to get there) Allthough, that could`ve been a nice explanation to what Hawke was doing between Act 2 and 3?
Another option is something about Isabella and Rivain, maybe something from her past (husband?)
Rivain is relatively close, a boat trip across Rialto Bay.
Haven`t really thought about it much, as Legacy is so fresh still. But this was the first that came to mind when I saw the topic.
This. Totally this.
Also I want to see Kont-Aar LOL.

A pro templar Hawke could go on an expedition for the Chantry, or a pro mage Hawke could go on behalf of the mages.
Another way to angle it; you go with Varric as a Merchant Guild representative, and you encounter agents from both sides trying to get their piece of the lyrium-cake.
It could take place inbetween acts 2 and 3, filling in a big gap in the timeline, and it should be accessible from post campaign saves. Options in the DLC would help you form an opinion for when you have to chose sides in Act 3.
Traveling to Kal Sharok and back would take a long time, across all of Nevarra, or possibly under it, discovering more about the Deep Roads.
You could maybe encounter some reference to Cory and/or the Architect during this.
Also, or instead, there`s room for DA:O reference as to which king you chose, or if you saved or destroyed the Anvil of the Void. Maybe you meet an Orzammar ambassador looking to establish contact with Kal Sharok.
A new (non DA2) companion please for the next DLC. Please please please, give me more drunk and swearing Oghren! I love that guy! Imagine Varric and Oghren party banter!
I`d imagine this a bit bigger than Legacy, and still quite a bit smaller than an expansion. 5-6 hours @ 10-15 bucks?
