[Dandynermite]

I don't know what to do, I installed the game on my PC, have it on highest graphics and everything, and it runs perfectly, except the spiders.

Giant ugly extremely detailed spiders everywhere. I had to pause and run out of my room, and clam down before I could come back in and I still cannot look at them.

Is there a mod or something that changes them to snakes or something, I just cannot deal with spiders that close to me on the screen.

Xbox its far away and I can cope, but on PC with that level of detail it is just horrifying

I think there's a mod out there that changes the spiders to marbari war hounds... - howeverm this is, apparently only for DA2. Link to DA Nexus:

However, after doing a little searching by google, I found this:

This will replace the spiders with colors etc. as pr. this:

The textures have been replaced with solid colours and the normalmaps smoothed out. The basic shape of the spider is still present, but I find this much more tolerable.

I hope this will help you to enjoy the game...

For me, I really dont like mods.

Only for the fact that my bro uses them to make his player invincible.

Nothing wrong with that, saves time and prevents personal skill development.

As for the Spiders......Guess your not a fan of the Shapeshifter and Ranger specs either.

Cheers, I'll have a look at getting that, DA2 spiders the really big one resulted in me screaming and kicking me xbox over, and then had my friend play through that bit :S it's horrible,

As for shapeshifters and ranger, when your party is far away they run to you, Morrigan ran at me (coming towards my screen) in this evil spider form and made me scream and run off again, I've since made sure she never does this again. As for ranger, my Leliana is a ranger, thankfully I have set it so she permantly has the wolf out, so I don't have to see it. They are horrible horrible things

Basicaly has 3 Rogue Rangers with spider pets and Morrigan shapeshifted into her spider form as their party.

Yes but I pickup Spiders in my house and move them to better locations or leave them alone if they are common house spiders or hunting spiders.

When I watch decent Zombie movies or have Zombie dreams I get squicked out. Hell if anyone remeber the cartoon/anime "Heavy Metal" there a zombie scene in there set in WW2 that creeped me out as a kid.
