Look at the carpets in the statues room from your house. There are four. One of them is now occupied with Legacy's Memento. There are three more left. I got a feeling that we will have 3 more story DLC, then it's possible they're going to do an expansion.
In my opinion, we're going to have an Orsino and a Meredith DLC where we will see more of their backstories. It's possible it's going to be two separate DLC or one and only. The second DLC could be related to Hawke's relation with the mercenaries or smugglers, and etc. The last one could be about visiting a new place which would link us to the next game or the possible expansion.

DLC is the way they test if there's still interest in the game, and Legacy most likely bombed. BioWare's going to focus most of the Dragon Age team's resources on the next big project.
Only if it bombed worse than Awakening. We still got DLC after that.

The Champion armor set pales in comparison to the legacy armor set when you get it at lvl 25+ so I think I'll be using it a lot. Too bad at this time there's nowhere to use it.
I understand what you are saying from a gaming perspective but with regards to roleplaying my honourable Hawke wouldn't go about in the garb of a Grey Warden whilst not a member of the order. The armour is pretty cool looking from the sets I have seen thus far (warrior and rogue), but to remain on topic I wouldn't wish to see Hawke become a warden in any future DLC.
Very true. I also prefer Hawke wearing his/her own special set of champion armor. To be honest I don't understand why BW gave Wardens their special armor in DA2. DAO was all about the Grey Wardens and though we hardly saw any, there wasn't any kind of 'Warden Armor' for them, except only Sophia Dryden.

Whatever it is I hope they concentrate a little more on the whole decisions aspect. They didn't make much difference in DA2 or Legacy... or Origins really... but it would be good if they could just focus on some more meaningful decisions with visible results a bit on the next DLC, not on a Witcher standard but y'know.
DLC's aren't quite big enough to necessarily have the range of decisions that I know a lot of our community are hungering for.
That said, I am 100% in agreement with the goals of this request, and we will absolutely see what can be done in the future.

You. You're good.
You keep this up and I'm gonna have to send you a bunch of cookies. And a Sten.
But will they be together?

You read (way to much) into it here first folks! Subtle, tacit, backdoor, lefthanded, wink-wink, nudge-nudge, pseduo-hint-reveal confirmation of an expansion pack. Don't burn the forums down, folks!

I'd have to go with year one also, as long as we can hook up with Athenril *drools* -ahem- not so much the balding guy, toss in a young good looking chap that works for him if you need to have two npc love interests (both bi i'm sure) already have a back up squad with the sibling, worthy the dwarf, elegant the err human girl & that elf guy
The thing pretty much writes it's self, i'd be shocked if bioware didn't do anything with all that easy story potential, just make Athenril gropible bioware >__>
Post game that supposed Exalted marches can tackle, i'd rather that be a stand alone game then a expansion, yearly installment & legacy shows they can make da2 work, just start fresh with the DA2 cast
I want the bolded part so bad. I mean serously. DA2: Year One is begging to be made.

I think if we don't get an expansion pack, we should all organise an Exalted March on BioWare HQ

Hawke, Aveline, LI, and sibling (if alive) returning to Lothering for an expansion maybe.
I would imagine after the all the focus Hawke gets after the finale of DA2, he/she would escape to somewhere way out of the reach of the Chantry and it`s seekers, and southern Ferelden sounds like the perfect place for that.
No idea what it could be about, maybe something involving Flemeth and the Kocari wilds.
At the end, as Robhuzz says, Cassandra and/or Leliana and maybe even Varric catches up to Hawke and sets the stage for DA3?
I get what you're saying but I don't think Ferelden would be a good place to escape to. I mean The Chantry has a pretty heavy presence in the country so if I had to guess where they would run to, I'd say Tevinter.
Pretty interesting place and could have some interesting ramifications if you are a mage(or have Bethany/Merril, or both in the party).

Post-campaign expansion. The speculated Exalted March expansion could be that. Ideally, this would have pro-mage and pro-templar origins.
What I Think, at a Minimum, Needs to be Shown during DAII Product Life Assuming Hawke in not DA3's Protagonist:
Why Hawke disappears.
Other Things That Would be Cool as DLC:
1) Pre-prologue stuff with Carver and Bethany.
2) Year 1 stuff with Mercs or Smugs.
3) Companion-oriented stuff that Hawke could get involved in. Three companions in partcular have interesting jobs: Isabela, a pirate, Varric, a spymaster; Merrill, an Elven Historian and Scientist, of sorts. As a result it makes sense that complications could develop with them that have to be sorted out.

Instead of waiting for them, Hawke decides to take the fight to them...Par Vollen.
This would of course have to be a Post-Act 2 or Post-campaign deal.

Interesting.. so Sebastian and the qunari attacking kirkwall, well is going to be an easy kill for my hawke, she will wait until Sebastian army and qunari start fighting then, she go and save the day! err sorry.. then she go and kill sebastain! yes much better.
Make a DLC post DA2 end please, dieying to know what is next for my hawke.. I like hawke don't kill her or I'll be very very disappointed.

I'd go for prologue leading up to the invasion of lothering....something that seemlessly blends into the opening scene.
It would probablly be much easier for bioware to script as both bro and sis would be the compainions and we might get to see some of the banter.... also experience bethany from a mage perspective or carver from a fellow warrior perspective.... it would just be awesome from a rogue perspective as all three hawke kids are class speperate.
To expand on the prologue idea and entering the realm of sheer joy... I'd like the prologue to start with them as kids..
Do a few unarmed missons, it would be cute as hell.....but yeah sheer fanservice, but It would make the losing a sibling so much more bitter. Wouldn't mind at all if it was just as long as lilianna's song...
