I doubt we`ll ever Anders again, unless they canon him being spared by Hawke. Which by the way could possibly cause riots in the streets.

And how do you know it would cause riots?

Errh... I didn`t mean in the game, I ment in the real world, and by streets, i ment the forums.

Of course a lot of people will be upset if one of the few decision making moments of any value in DA2 is ignored.

I think the good writers really can't be bothered to have their precious canon soiled by whatever choices the plebian gamers make :innocent:

Might a dev be so kind as to inform us how well Legacy has sold in as vague or specific terms as s/he pleases or is allowed, and how this might relate to the future of DA2 products and the future of the franchise on the whole?

I don't think it will matter, people are upset no matter what is/isn't done or expanded on.

They will cater to BOTH fan groups.

I had characters that killed Anders and some that ran off with him.

They're not going to ignore one fan base just to pander to those who killed him. They will be fair to all.

I don't expect we will see Hawke or Anders in DA:3 anyway.

Well, as cool as Legacy was, I hope the next DLC/s will keep Hawke far away from darkspawn killing and Warden business. As much as I enjoyed the big revelations of Legacy, uncovering them with a non-Warden character kind of felt like Batman discovering the origins of Krypton, or something. :P

(Though I've yet to do a run through with a Warden!Sibling)

pre-flight life with two different stories to allow us to connect to the sibling that would die. Mages can connect with Bethany while Carver goes to Ostagar, warriors and rogues with Carver as they go to Ostagar to fight.

Year 1 with Athenril or Meeran (or if not, at least make her a LI companion in DA3 along with Cassandra)

an expansion.

I wasn't aware that people even liked Athenril. There's nothing to her personality except shallow and cutthroat. I mean, she isn't even charismatic, just has a sexy voice.

But I agree on the Bethany/Carver expansion packs. Getting to know them in some calm before the storm, getting to decide whether or not they were truly friends or enemies of Hawke when they died. I think it was a little cheap to say at the beginning, "drat! My really good friend of a sister died! No clue who she was!" and vice versa.

I want to see an expansion, involving the 'Hero of Feralden' and hawke. Just put the warden in a full suit of armour, and everyone will be catered for (Male and Female voices too,of course).

I'm fine with Hawke, but the Warden needs closure.(Regarding U.S they could use the Orlieasen warden in place of an origins one)

I would like to see DLC's released after the game have a chronological order that is in line with their release.

I prefer to continue the story, rather than fill in the gaps.

This even really bugs me about F:NV DLC ... they don't continue the story they fill in extra adventures into the current game. This is ok if you wait until all DLC;s are out to play the game but for someone who just wants to continue then it is mildly annoying. Yes I DO remaker new characters alot though so i can enjoy this style I just prefer another style.

It's what I love about Borderlands DLC's. You CAN play them prior to beating the campaign but they are designed to take place after the campaign. They are all sizeable, all cheap (800 points), all revistable locations, and all worth the money. Nobody this gen comes anywhere near Gearbox in terms of value added through DLC and post game patching.

Act 4 dlc after hawke and companions leave kirkwall, then expantion of hawke, hawke LI and Siblings they can go to tavinter. Bioware allow us to rescue Beth from the circle! That will be one less mage you'll have to come up with! lol
Oh and the DLC legacy was great!!! I love it with Bethanny, making another rogue just to get her again.

Note: I don't have Beth in the circle, I made her warden all the time, I want to see Beth free from templars and the Chantry zealots.

With the success of Legacy, BioWare seems to have managed to restore some of it's fans trust that was so badly tarnished by DA2.
Having played through Legacy and having loved every second, I'm kind of excited to see more of this level of DLC.
Personally, I'd like something like "Return of the Qun" or "Flemeth Chronicles" and eventually a full-blown expansion to continue Hawke's story.
What are your thoughts on this?

Success? Hardly, boring and uninvetive. I just could´t care less about these omg-super-badass-delta-nightmare hack´n slash video games to which DA games are heading. If this is the future of DA I will not be bying the next game.

Sale numbers measures the DLCs success, not one persons opinion of it.

We don`t know if it`s a success yet, as we haven`t seen any numbers. Or have we? I searched for it earlier today but didn`t find anything at least.

There's an entire group of people dedicated to worshipping all things Athenril. She is amazing. We cannot live without her.   Posted Image.

Seriously though, there are people who do love Athenril, myself among them. She's got a sexy voice and she's beautiful, and she does have a sense of humor. I wouldn't call her shallow, and in her line of work you have to be cutthroat.

As for the siblings, I really think Bioware overdid the family death in the game. But since I can't change the story save for in my Hawke fanfic, I have to work with what the game gave me. To that end, Bioware needs to give us a Pre-flight DLC consisting of life in Lothering and what happened during the Ostagar timeframe.

I hope any future DLC/expansion packs allow us to kill more Templars. Lots more Templars. Enough to build a bridge across the Waking Sea so Hawke can finally leave Kirkwall and go to a real country like Ferelden.

What would be really cool with the "run away from Lothering" idea, is if it starts at the point where the warden gets there. You never see him, but everyone is talking about him and how he set Sten free. And then follow the events leading up to when Lothering is lost.A longer escape would be nice too.Bolt that onto the start of the game (instead of a separate campaign) and I'll be as happy as a pig in sh*t!

An off-topic note, but I'm fairly certain that the upcoming FO:NV DLC is supposed to take place post-campaign, at least chronologically speaking. Some of the companion stuff in Dead Money hinted at that.

Aaaaand... back on-topic!

Please no Starkhaven. I have 0 interest in anything that relates to that preachy fellow.

Now if we get the option to kill Sebastion....I might think differently.

That's cool!

And I don't grumble grumble hate anything that isn't post campaign and I am more into replaying games than buying new ones but I would PREFER to move forward.

Personally I would prefer post-game DLC or just work on DA3. Any DLC that took place in the 'narrative gaps' I would not pay for as I would consider those gaps the reason for the DLC in the first place.
