The success of the personal bits in Legacy that dealt with Hawke actually made me wonder If more of this Hawke central dlc would be a good thing, or if some more important world evolving/plot continuation dlc would be better.
In any case: more Merrill Bioware.

This even really bugs me about F:NV DLC ... they don't continue the story they fill in extra adventures into the current game. This is ok if you wait until all DLC;s are out to play the game but for someone who just wants to continue then it is mildly annoying. Yes I DO remaker new characters alot though so i can enjoy this style I just prefer another style.
An off-topic note, but I'm fairly certain that the upcoming FO:NV DLC is supposed to take place post-campaign, at least chronologically speaking. Some of the companion stuff in Dead Money hinted at that.
Aaaaand... back on-topic!
WOW! I'll really like that! well no, I would LOVE that!! please, oh please when??

bad things happened there and the veil is thinned because of it.
Or
maybe it'll be a trip to Kal Sharok and tell us things about Varric's
backstory. Example, perhaps he had a relationship with a dwarven woman
that went bad and she went there. Then Varric named his crossbow after
her because he couldn't deal with it. And now Varric needs closure and
wants Hawke's help to get to Kal Sharok, then they get involved in some
big crisis there. Like a Darkspawn invasion, adding redesigned Shrieks,
and maybe reveal more about the Primeval Thaig(I believe Kal Sharok has
its own memories and records. Could learn more).

IIRC I thought it was confirmed that they were never going to do a DLC that extends past the ending(like Broken Steel for PS3)
http://www.destructo...nd-181927.phtml
The final DLC, Lonesome Road will probably be accessible at some point late in the game. At least thats my assumption. And you'll hear Ulysses reason for denying the job as Courier Six and leaving it for you.

I just want something anything that deals with events that take place after DA2.
I've never understood why they don't set it after. They might have some technical problem with a post-camapaign (like killing Meredith was worth 0XP to me) but in terms of marketing I think they can safely assume anyone buying the DLC has, or will, finish the game. At least the narrative strutcure makes the flashing back into the story work better this time than the DAO type stories.

They are likely going to addon to the main game before they extend it past the ending. Look at Origins, The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, and Return to Ostagar came before Awakening, Amgaraak, and Witch Hunt. And Arrival for Mass Effect 2 was saved for last also because it set the stage for ME3.
The Final DLCs for DAII will probably be story driven, set after Meredith's death, and will set the stage for DAIII also.

The next DLC will be Hawke going to a beach and you will have to fight off an armada of Demon pirates.
If it means seeing Merrill, Bethany, and Isabela in swimsuits. I'm all for it.

This is what we call in my world "Business Intelligence." Have to test the competitor's wares and so forth.
And to keep it on topic, I hope since YOU hope that FO:NV DLC is post-campaign that you will give US something post-campaign. I mean, that's what everyone wants, right? It's only fair!

As much as this was a good DLC...i am getting tired of the whole 'small chunk' only a few hours of gameplay type of thing, i mean look at Borderlands, each of the 4 'dlc' where are big as expansion packs...i look forward to the next DA2 dlc....but i have yet to see 'Beefier' dlc like was promised before the launch, a 3-4 hour dlc is not 'beefy' if you ask me.....please Bioware why not work on actual expansion? 1 awseome expansion would be so much better than another bunch of 3-4 hour dlc.....dont get me wrong i enjoyed Legacy alot....i just dig dragon age so much i would love to see an expansionOr if we are going to get another 3-4 hour thing can we have some big choices to make? That make big differences...? This is what i find lacking in smaller dlc'c....it is an rpg after all, right?
Legacy is the largest Dragon Age DLC we've ever seen (except for Awakening) but for some the glass will always be half empty...

massively panned by critics for pretty much the exact same problems all the other recent Dragon Age content specifically (and most Bioware DLC in general these days...) tends to have.
1. Lots of bugs and glitches
2. Shallow
3. Short
4. Pricey
Now, I admit I haven't played it yet because, based on the reviews, it seems like no progress has been made on the recent quality control issues Bioware has been facing. Are the critics incorrect and wrong? Is this DLC (unlike other recent flops like Witch Hunt and The Arrival) actually any good?

Whilst I'd hesitate to call them wrong I'm seeing a disturbing trend within the reviews, now to me and I've seen a lot of people echoing this sentiment Legacy is quite a good evolution of the design elements in DA2, meaning that it's essentially a better game.
Strangly though the same websites that gave DA2 8/10 at launch have given Legacy 5/10 (eurogamer specifially) which makes no sense at all to me. Take from it what you will but for me Legacy is a better product in its implementation than DA2 is.
My only hope is that they'll capitalise on Legacy and bring out more equal or higher quality DLC / Expansions sometime soon and not leave it for the same length of time as it has been since release to now.

It almost seems like the professional review sites realized that they rated DA2 too high based on the user scores being so much lower than the critic scores and are overcorrecting based on what you're saying.
Is Legacy more like DAO or DA2?

Like it to be post game based.
Would like it to have an Isabela focus.
Post-game pirate ship FTW!?! With the survivng crew from 'The Last Straw' on board. Finally get to see Isabela in all her pirate glory. Companions can relax on different decks. They can call the ship the 'Normandy'.

Bioware needs to start answering some of the questions they create instead of just making more questions or random side stories. I really want to know what happened to my warden through the Eluvian.
Me too, but I think that's what DA3 is going to explore..... not the warden so much as he/she may/may not have gone through the mirror... obviously morrigan lives as flemeth mentions her in present tense , and flemeth knows all...
I'd assume they'd adopt witch hunt "morrigan lives in the fade with wardens kid" as canon for DA3.
I think all in all our grey wardens just -set- the stage for the rest of the DA story... hense the first game being called "Origins"... it simply put the set pieces in place. I doubt very much we'll see our warden again.

I would also like to be someone other than hawke and have bethany in my party.
some more information on flemeth. In all honesty I would like some deep flemeth morrigan dlc but the new art style and graphics look really bad to me, so maybe if they were willing to go back to the origins art style. Something with Velanna would be cool too.
