i own the PS3 european version of dragon age origins. If i buy the PS3 Ultimate edition will the save games from the first copy be compatible?

I have confirmed this, because I had once had the regular copy of dragon age, sold it for MW2, and then I had bought the Ultimate Edition.
Your saved games is compatible with both editions of the game. As long as it is that game.
It would be kinda stupid to start over even though you bought the SAME GAME, but a different edition of it.
