Hi :)
After the first part of the game the game seems to be loading but no matter how much I wait it won't load.

I even assumed that my computer is just slow or something, and I let it "load" the whole night, and it didn't work.

I bought this game only yesterday, and installed the Black Emperium bonus.

Any ideas why it isn't working? Image IPB

EDIT:

Yes, I've noticed I didn't put enough information, but I wasn't sure about my system information, until now. (and I also hoped deep inside it is a common known problem Image IPB)
I used a site that compares my computer to the requirements in the game, and it didn't pass its minimum,
Because I have: Mobile AMD Athlon™ XP-M proccessor 3000+
However, I also used the site to compare Dragon Age Origins, (which worked perfectly fine) and it also showed my computer can't run it, also because of the processor and its speed.

The "first part" of that game is after Flemeth's scene as a dragon at the begining, it won't load after it.
I bought the game CD, I have DirecX 9 and 11 (The game/ its demo installed DirecX 11 and I was later asked to download and install 9)

Is there any way I can run it, without  buying a new computer?

Thank you for the attention so far , by the way :)

The "first part" of the game? Could you elaborate?

Also, if you're using nVidia Geforce with 275.33 drivers and DX11 active, there's a problem with associated, and new drivers with a fix should be released soon, in the meantime try disabling DX11 or rolling back to 270.61 driver version - which is more stable.

Until the OP chooses to remove the blindfold and look around, at the stickies here, there's not going to be anything useful anyone can offer. HE / she simply isn't offering information that can lead that far.

Previous comment regarding Nvidia drivers still stands - However, if your computer lacks the CPU and/or memory to run the game, there's not really much that can be done, I'm afraid.

*tries to perform a strange Luke-summoning spell, He'd know more.*

Our game technically runs under min-spec but usually causes bizarre side-effects or just won't pass specific points. Unless a community member has a suggestion on ways to optimize your setup you may be out of luck.

Muwahaha. Blood magic ftw.

considering it's a mobile chipset I'd assume she's using a netbook/notebook... so only possibility afaik is a totally new computer., sorry.

Best option I can think of is try disabling all unnecessary background programmes (apart from firewall, antivirus and windows itself) and then try again.

DA2 uses a version of PhysX that demands a service from the CPU that the Athlon XPs never offered, not even the Bartons (newer than the Athlon 64 K8). There was an extended discussion of those old K7s in the DA2 Demo forum, so I think I can switch tabs and look that up (SSE2 strikes a chord in my memory).

The root of the problem didn't show up in the first page of scanning, but the more I think about it, the more SSE2 sounds like it's the missing service.

So likely a no-hoper? Or is there a workaround?
