Not sure if anyone got this. I just finished fighting Neeshkas arch-nemesis and I have entered the Dock District. There is a man called Praven who threatens me and states hes going to kill me. Thing is can see the dialogue box but I can't see him anywhere. In fact unless I press spacebar or Z, you have a completely black screen with only the dialogue box. I can tell Praven is supposed to attack me because Elanee goes on defensive casting mode but nothing happens because there is nobody to fight.
As far as I know I have the latest patches. I just DLed SOZ recently and got it patched.
Praven bug?

I have a vague idea what's happening here. You went to meet Leldon in the park and chased him off in a puff of smoke. You are now trying to return to the Docks across the bridge.
Praven is not trying to kill Neeshka, he's trying to kill Qara. He was waiting outside the Flagon but Wolf slipped you past him. When you enter the Docks, his dialogue launches and he goes into attack mode. He is waiting for you down by the Flagon door. You should be able to run down there and do the fight. You can close the dialogue box at some point - after he comes into view if not immediately.
p.s. I've only seen this happen once. I wonder, do you have Tony K's AI installed?

Nope. Qaara wasn't in my party at the time by the way.

Well then, that's a problem. Praven should not appear without Qara in your party. Period. If you have a save after the park but before crossing back to the Docks, load it and try going out the southern exit from the Merchant Quarter. You can still go to the Docks but, depending on the state of certain variables, you could enter from the south by the Flagon. See if that doesn't bypass the problem. If you do manage to get back into the Flagon, you'll want to take Qara for a little stroll - there's someone she really should meet.

That problem is sorted. I tried entering the docks from a different entrance and sure enough they were at the sunken flagon. However I don't think there was ever a problem, I suspect if I had kept on travelling to the sunken flagon in the previous example the same thing would have happened. It was just confusing because of how it was presented.
