Hi I'm completly new to RPG games,well I've played TES and the like but I doubt that counts lol. I've no idea what kind of build to go for. I've tried a mage and while it was fun it wasn't entirely what I wanted. After playing for a while I thought it might be fun to play on the frontlines but I'm not sure. What are your ideas for builds? I kinda like the idea of sns but is tanking fun? I don't mind if I'm not the most damaging character as long as its fun.
I need help with a build

Well fun is subjective.
Do you like spamming skills on the backlines and releasing a lot of devestating spells while flirting with death pretty often, then play as mage...and pray you don't die
Do you like spamming skills on the frontlines with big and heavy weaponry and knocking everyone and everything down? Then go 2H warrior.
Do you like auto-attacking and using mostly battlefield control talents? Then go S/S Warrior Tank (and pick up champion).

Dual wield rogue is probably the build I play as personal favorite, though archer is a close second.

well if you're going s/s you'll need to be tanking. That means you'll need to go max dex, not much of an option there.

well if you're going s/s you'll need to be tanking. That means you'll need to go max dex, not much of an option there.
Not always.
Sword and Shield can do some decent damage if built correctly. (Same can be said for any build though)
Theres my Aggressive build. 26 Dex, Almost everything else Str.
Personaly favorite and very fun. Reaver/Templar suggested, The Veshialle Axe preferred.
Theres the Survival build, 42 Str after bonuses, everything else Dex. Use Daggers for best results.
Has problem doing enough damage though. Champion/Reaver or Champion/Templar suggested.
Theres the balance build, 60+ Str, 60+ Dex. Not as good at either of the abouve twos areas but a balance in between them. Can use any weapon.
Just keep in mind with all builds, you will need to spam your talents. You will need to rely on the taunt talents more to keep threat as a Survival build as well.
As ive stated before, Tanking is about keeping threat first and surviving secondary. Not just about being hard to kill.
The first and third builds abouve have no problems with this while the second does.
