reading the interpretations in books like Path to destruction confuses the whole argument as the Sith philosophy is actually fairly sound and is completely at odds with the way they are inevitably portrayed. They say that power is a means to an end and yet seek power even when it creates massive problems and creates more chains. The sith code is all about breaking your chains and yet bane concludes that those who use the force are always bound to serve it. so they do complete 180's in the same train of thought.
Alright, I know the subject already got back on topic but...THANK YOU. Path of Destruction is one of my favorite books because it actually gives a good view of the Sith philosophies. It may not be nice or happy but it's not evil. It's a believable philosophy that one could get behind. But at the end of the day...pretty much every forcie is in some cult or another.
Anyways, I'll just respond with 32/male/sole survivor/earthborn/adept

after thinking about it for a while I came up with an interesting theory. George Lucas is socialist, and he tried to use the Jedi-sith as a metaphor for socialism-capitalism, thuse linking selfless action, lack of ownership and lack of passion with GOOD and passion, pursuit of power and freedom as EVIL. not very subtle, but that's what it strikes me as.Xinder5 wrote...

Really wouldn't surprise me at all, if you watch the Clone wars television series there are hidden although not quite subtle socialist messages in some episodes. Its one of the reasons I watch it, as a political science major I find it fascinating!

* I was initially going to say I was intened to live 10 years longer than you, but then I realised you only stated that you intended to game until 110, with no mention of how long you intended to live afterwards.
lol I just thought that after age 110 I won't have reflexes good enough to play

@skirata129- I've actually held the same exact ( or very close ) theory about the jedi/sith = socialism/capitalism comparisons for some time now. Albeit, i figured more specifically communism, if that makes any difference.
