haha, I mean't in the star wars series as a whole, not just her books.

and reading the interpretations in books like Path to destruction confuses the whole argument as the Sith philosophy is actually fairly sound and is completely at odds with the way they are inevitably portrayed. They say that power is a means to an end and yet seek power even when it creates massive problems and creates more chains. The sith code is all about breaking your chains and yet bane concludes that those who use the force are always bound to serve it. so they do complete 180's in the same train of thought. Jusik's treating it just like any other physical attribute makes much more sense. force users are all holier than thou monks or madmen out for total universal domination, with the exception of him. he's the sole sane force user in the entire star wars saga.

and I thought you meant the bioweapon. she doesn't solve the age dilemma in that book.

I seem to remember being convinced the Sith weren't all crazy during my time at the sith academy on Korriban in KOTOR. I forget how they put it but it made some sense.

I always liked the Sith more. The Jedi were always too mixed with politics like the Council in ME. It's just that most people think they're all pure evil because of Palpatine the douchebag who ruined it for everyone. They're disciplined, obscure and mysterious. I love they're style.

KOTOR was no better, really. Every Sith with a name you run into in that academy is either an asswipe or trying to betray you or someone else, except for that one fellow who doesn't, and thus feels like he doesn't fit in.
I prefer to think the Sith make a policy out of being douchebags. The biggest douchebags win. It's survival of the fittest on a society scale.

lol

I think I prefer my own image of them if that's the case. So I guess Sidius won that competition....

Maybe not sane. No sane guy is going to get mixed up with a band of clinically crazy and heavily armed assassins. 'Tis hs insanity that drives him into the mix, and that's just the way I like it.
Everyone else who joins does it out of necessity in some way or other. Jusik's about the only guy who joins because he truly thinks the clones need him more than the Jedi do.

Oh, of course. The runner is actually a point in favour of the Sith douchebaggery philosophy. The guy felt like he didn't belong, but instead of manning up and trying harder he ran off to sob in his mother's skirts. A typical Sith would have called that 'weak', and when a tudent in my genetics class decides to drop the course because 'it's too hard', I call him weak too.
Gimme one up top, you exposed-nerve pale-skinned white-eyed villlains!

Indeed. I knew when Star Wars was getting greedy and wanted to milk the franchise. Have you seen the Endor DLC for Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2!? That stuff looked like a bad writen facfiction that makes "My Immortal" a run for it's money.

Ohboy.
That whole Force Unleashed businessmade me facepalm from day one. The last thing the franchise needed was a game about some tosser that can vape entire AT-ATs of stormtroopers just by coughing. Luke was supposed to be some super-strong prodigy thing and he could barely shift a lightsaber!
Feh. This leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I myself was Image IPB in the Star Destroyer scene. Not even 20 Vaders could do that and he can do it while ships are blasting him. What a load of bull. They made him waaaaaay to powerful.... yet a single explosion that can't kill an old man who he just kicked the ass of can take him out. Man, it was all wrong. I liked the dark ending though. Way more belivable.

I didn't even bother looking up the sequel. Can't believe it ended with the possibility of a third. No shame in those ****s. at this point, the entire franchise makes no sanse at all. AT ALL.

Yes, like that.
These wankers jump off cliffsides while armies of droids are shooting at them and some high ground BS seals the deal?
For shame, Lucas!

The first game was bad enough for 10 hours of story line game play then have to play it over and over again to get the damn achievements.  Blah.  I just rented TFU-2, ran through that story line in less than 10 hours and mailed it back to Gamefly.  I'm done with Lucas Arts games.  They have not had a good one this gen of consoles.

Back on topic.

I'm female, married even(9 years next month), 44I(In Oct).  My first gaming console was Pong.   I'll be gaming until my hands can't do it anymore or I'm dead.  Which ever comes first.  :P
