Hey ery'body,

I just linked my disc copy of Dragon Age: Origins to my EA Origin account. I did this through the Origin desktop client and it is now in my "My Games" list along with my registered disc copy of DA2 and other EA Games.

My question is, if I purchase the digital copy of Dragon Age: Origins Awakening through the Origin client would I be able to play it? More so, would my saves and characters transfer?

Will this work or do I need to hunt down a disc copy of Awakening?

Thanks

It will work just fine either way. Just make sure that both are registered to the same EA account.

Whatever you do, if you install the digital version of DAO, make sure you uninstall the disc version (it will give you the option to save your characters or delete them), and reboot your system before installing the digital version of the main game. Double-installs tend to lead to some ugly crashes. Installing the digital version of Awakening will not cause any problems regardless of which version of the main game you are running.
