I'm almost certain that this must have been asked before but my google searchs are failing me so after spending several hours the last few days I've given in and I'm making a new thread.

Question:  What is the game save directory for ME1 and will retaining the saved games maintian my unlocked Achivements?

Situation, I'm going to reinstall ME1 in an attempt to fix issues with both DLC modules (so that I can load my saved game and continue from where I  was), however I don't want to lose the progress of either my game or my achivements.

Any help would be marvelous and once again sorry for posting what I'm sure is a somewhat redundent thread.

I think reinstalling doesn't affect saves and profile files.

I checked with EA customer "service" and they told me I needed to save them manually or they'd be lost, but after using your info to copy them I discovered that the uninstaller does indeed have the option to save them
