I've just recently installed Mass Effect 2 from a friend and they both loaded but the weird thing is that when i press play both game replied with the message
Mass Effect 2: Failed to initialize the Physics system. Please ensure you have an updated version of the PhysX System Software Installed
the thing is that PhysX doesn't run with ATI Radeon HD 4200 that I have because they're made by NVIDIA. Does anybobdy know what to do about this because I really liked this game

Install the Physx software you can find on the Mass Effect 2 DVD.
As far as I know Physx isn't necessarilly exclusive to Nvidia GPUs and the Physx in Mass Effect 2 are handled by the CPU. I bet someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

In this case it makes no difference. An HD 4200 won't work anyway; it's not close to good enough. The game requires an actual, discrete graphics card, no worse than an HD 4650, but preferably no slower than an HD 5670.
