There was. But if you decided to make love with her, you died. Not kidding this time. That was the point of Morinth 'romance'.

Salarians lay eggs....I don't think a human and a salarian would even be possible...anatomy's VERY different.

Mordin, not morinth.

And also, I would assume because of the whole explanation Mordin gives about how Salarian thought process and emotional processing is accelerated to make up for the shortened life span brought on by their high metabolic rate. I would guess Mordin would be unable to form emotions that were sustainable to base a relationship on.

Salarians seem totally disinterested in love, and even moreso in sex.

Mordin's not into Shepard like that, he's one of the few companions that rejects Shepard's advances.

Ohh read it as Morinth :pinched: MorDIN did say he just wasn't interested and that Salarians have little sex drive. But he also said if he ever wanted to try a human, he would try Shepard ;)

Mordin's not a LI because he can't get it up. He even says so.

I have to be honest, I think Mordin would just be over looked.
If you look at all male characters and assumed they could be LI's
Jacob-Buff military man
Garrus-Hardass Turian with a chip on his shoulder
Thane-Deadly assassin with a soft side
Grunt-Sheer badass
Zaeed-Famous mercenary
Mordin-Hyper active scientist

I think the other characters kind of win with it

Also this has just occurred to me... (Somewhat crude but still)

If Salarians are all hyper accelerated because of their metabolism then surely their sex drive would be too, leading to by Human standards being premature leading to a very disappointed fem shep? :')

Not like a physical relationship with a Salarian would be any more awkward than what has already been made available with Garrus. Shepard doesn't need the option to bone everything in sight though, I think they already went overboard with the number of LIs in ME2.

thats kinda true because on illium ( this is a spoiler ) a human was throwing a bachelor party for his salarian friend and if u listen to the conversation they start to fight over wat the asarian looks like when it comes to cross speceis looks its really funny

By earth species standard also, there's a good chance he wouldn't actually have a penis, many of our egg layers don't.
