I'm not really sure what a human is going to do with a cloaca, is what I'm saying. In case you needed clarification.

mordin is about 80.... no one wants an 80 year old ass... well I did.... but I was rejected apparently so I gave up...
Mordin's age is never mentioned in the game, and 80 is extremely old for a Salarian so I would think that very improbable.
Salarians view intimacy differently than other species, and if I remember right it's physically impossible for them to do it as we know it.

I know salarians don't live long, they only live to about 40 or so, but mordin said somewhere that he was really old so... yeah, probably at least 60 in human years
and yeah, they mate like fish, doesn't mean shep can't have some fun?

That happened with my femShep anyway. Which I play more of than maleShep and my last maleShep stayed faithful to Ash, but didn't talk to anyone on the Normandy but Tali and Garrus. Those are the only two he trusted enough to talk to after every mission. And Joker/Dr. Chakwas.

Salarians live to be 1000? Dude they rarely live for more than 40!TheHoon55 wrote...

Mordin, not morinth.
And also, I would assume because of the whole explanation Mordin gives about how Salarian thought process and emotional processing is accelerated to make up for the shortened life span brought on by their high metabolic rate. I would guess Mordin would be unable to form emotions that were sustainable to base a relationship on.
yea but asarians live to be 1000 i dont see y salarians cant love its to sad

I click on the You're joking. or the one like that. I just laughed when I had him say that to my Shep. I was like dude, I'm with Liara and I don't want you.Sarcastic Tasha wrote...
I love when Mordin thinks Shep fancies him and proceeds to say how he's always getting hit on by other species. I always have to go for the "thanks for letting me down gently" option.

I tried that one once but it seemed kind of mean. Even though he wasn't interested I think he seemed a bit disappointed. I like the idea of Shep pretending she fancies him just to spare his feelings.

He didn't seem disappointed to me, but maybe I didn't see it. His reaction was funny though, he got all professional doctor like and that made me laugh.Sarcastic Tasha wrote...

I tend to think of Mordin as always being light-hearted and less than serious, either that or he's completely serious and doesn't realise how funny he's being (EDI is often like that too). I kind of wonder if Mordin is actually making a joke about how Shepard seems to so easily gain the interest of multiple crew members.ladyvader wrote...

I like the "thanks for letting me down gently" option because it reflects the way Mordin talks and it's fun to play along whether he's serious or not. All the responses are good though, Mordin is one of the best characters for dialogue.

It seems the two characters that are part of the disc and not DLC are the ones you can talk to the most. Mordin and Samara. And I enjoyed talking to both of them.Smeelia wrote...
You could still have a romantic relationship with a Salarian, they're quite capable of emotion and Mordin even says so (they just tend to deal with it at a faster pace). You maybe wouldn't have a sexual relationship (and reproduction is highly unlikely) but that's not necessary for love.I tend to think of Mordin as always being light-hearted and less than serious, either that or he's completely serious and doesn't realise how funny he's being (EDI is often like that too). Because even if you think salarians are sexy, they don't think you are sexy. My advice is to get over it and just love Mordin for who he is, one of the few platonic un-fanciable characters.TheHoon55 wrote...
this thread is about ur thoughts on why they didnt make a love scene for mordin and if they might have one in ME3

Didn't Bioware have a list of ages at one point and Mordin was stated to be the equivalent of 50 in human years?

If you talk to Mordin enough, he will talk to you about you and your ME2 LI However, if you didn't romance anyone in ME2, he acts like you are hitting on him and turns you down. I was like HUH? What just happened here. Then I started laughing.
