Am I the only who became extremely interested through the talk with Grunt where he mentions other races and discribes them as sqiushy or fragile or something to that effect, but then says the Quarians are different, are tougher. Anybody else like to see this acted upon at some point in ME3? Considering all we see is people trapped by their immune system, I think it'd be great if in the third game it transpired that they are in fact the next best thing to having a Krogan fighting for you.

Its a shame we only ever see/hear about them losing in combat though.

To be fair, anyone that isn't Shepard or being lead by Shepard is doomed to fail.

Point well made. It's probably wishful thinking at best but I just always found that bit of dialogue quite interesting.

Pretty much this.

BioWare has made it seem that Shepard's the only person to succeed.

The thing is their immune system is weaker than whatever physical toughness they may have. As soon as they get a rip in their suit unless they're 'swimming in antibiotics' like Reager is than they'd be down for the count a few minutes after exposure because of their extreme allergic reactions to everything.

I guess that probably answers it then. Still, a man can dream.

I always felt that was a typo..lol...should have been "your all soft....Turians, not so much." The Turians kicked the Krogan's backsides afterall in the rebellions.

You mean a Quarian getting tortured? The ways grunt described it was a way I'm rather glade I wasn't there to see it. I would like to see Quarian soldiers in action but not torturing them I mean their suits can be torture enough for them in some ways.

Kal'Reegor does pretty well in combat, holding out against so many Geth.

I have a strong feeling they are very tough and hard to bring down, until they get an infection.

Didn't we see Quarian fleet pwning a reaper from orbit in ME3 demo?

One shot to that big glowing faceplate that looks like a christmas tree on the 4th of July and BAM! Game over Quarian.
Grunt was referring to their enviro-suits apparently being hard to puncture.

I think people overestimate how quickly an allergic reaction or infection would become fatal for a quarian... It's not fast. Hours at a minimum for an infection, days is more likely. Allergic reactions would appear faster but not instantly... probably around 10 minutes for the onset of symptoms.

And yeah we did see the Quarian fleet fire an orbital strike on a reaper... unfortunately the thing survived.

Not really, since it didn't affect the reaper much.

The Quarians aren't too tough when it comes to infantry, but I remember it being said (admittedly, by a Quarian), that they hae the biggest fleet in the galaxy.

Well... to put it in perspective. The Citadel Defense Fleet lost 20 cruisers or so and was decimated.

The Quarian Flotilla has 50,000 ships in it. Admittedly they're old, worn, and stuffed full of many times their designed compliment of crew.

I never understood how he could think that, one hole in the suit and infection would kill them. I even remember Kal'Reegar saying as much himself.

Actually the military track record of the quarians seems one of incompetence and stupidity.

Maybe he just meant that quarians are tough due to the suits. Yeah you can shoot them easily enough, but remember Grunt would prefer to get up close and kill you in melee. It's like an eggshell or something. Hard on the outside, gooey center on the inside.

Yeah... how many suit ruptures do you think Tali has had in all the adventures she's been on?

"Keelah, I get to the citadel and get shot just after walking out of customs!" *stumbles to Dr. Michel's office.*

Then running with Shepard, two years of operations with the fleet, running with Shepard again...
