Alright, since Legacy released, m!Hawke can now use Bethany's warden armor:

Previously this model was restricted to females only, and there were some darn good armors released based off of it. I tried seeing if the standalone version of the Rak's Blight Buster worked, but it still shows up as invisible. So far, the only mods I've gotten to work are straight-up recolors of the statless female warden armor. I have absolutely zero luck or talent in even something as simple as model swapping, but I'd love to see this model as either a new standalone or a replacement for something like the Overseer set (anything with respectable enough stats to make it wearable in the endgame, basically).

Nice work HC.

I would love some of the mods to get male versions. One of my favs is female only. But I don't have any tools. sigh

Oh, I'd love to use that for a male version of my Apostate's Promise mod! So, if recolours of the base work, it's using the same textures but it's possibly using physically a different model ... hmmn. If it is a different model inside the encrypted files, that's gonna be a no-go :(

Hmmn, unless we can make the stand alone mmh/mao file point to the wrba model, not a new one...

A standalone set points to a completely different model and texture files, so current ones won't work off the bat. Eg, my Apostate's promise is arm_tyr, not arm_wrba.

I'll do some experimenting tonight. If I can make my stand-alone work without its seperate model files (by pointing to the original), then yes its possible to make a male version.

If Beth's original armour is equipping fine on a male, a model swap should be easy.

I know that these reskins/overrides work with the male version as well.

OK, so far entirely stand-alone armor is a no-go.

HOWEVER, a new set of armour with its own stats is possible, although it will also override Bethany's and the other wardens' robes. That definitely works.

would anyone be interested in a male version of my Apostate's Promise, even though it would override the warden robes?

I'd definitely take a version of that robe. That it overrides the female warden armor doesn't really bug me. Unless Bethany is alive, the only time you see the female warden armor is in Legacy. And for Mage Hawkes, that's not really a problem.

If you go to my Blight buster Mage file on Nexus, under old files is a file called "Rak_BethanyWarden". That is a replacement for Bethany's Warden armor. It looks like it Will work for the guys too:

Bummer that those mesh files are encrypted.

@Rak: I saw that, but the armor still has no stats (unless I used a mod to take character restrictions off all armors and use Bethany's actual armor I suppose, but I actually like having some items restricted to certain characters; I know I'm weird, I've come to terms with it). But I do adore your recolors and I've been using them since you released them. So much better than the default blue IMO.

@ highcastle - I'm going to upload the itemvariation.gda for the champion mage. It will replace the champion Mage outfit with the warden one. You can edit that and switch out the champion armor with whatever one you like.
