Liara because a human-asari romance is fascinating to me, I love her development from ME1 to 2 to LotSB as she loses some of her innocence and naivete but gains steel and independence, and the tension between her and Shep in 2 up until the end of LotSB when the romance is finally re-confirmed is wonderful.

Well Liara is the best IMO and
but i have romanced just about everybody else (never cheated though)
I kind of want to see how Samara pans out in ME3 since she was the only one to actually reject you but she did have some kind of feelings
Miranda is intresting as well being infertile and the backstory with her father i'm actually thinking he could be part of Cerberus turning on you in ME3

My favorites are Miranda and Ashley, but the overall best Love interest is Jacob. Yes femshep sounds like she's in heat when talking to him, but there's a reason for it. He's the only Love interest that asks Shepard how they're doing through either of the main missions (saren hunting and leading up to the suicide Mission) and lets Shepard bear her soul because he doesn't need to because he's got nothing to worry about himself. Plus during the love scene (if you deny him after "The priiize") He says the three magical word each of the LOVE interest should say "I love you". Check my Sig for the good stuff if you don't believe me. Jacob is the best.

For my MShepard the best LI are in this order: Miranda, Ashley.
Liara and Tali are never an option (not because they are aliens). Tali and Jack are girls, Shepard needs a real woman (behind every great man there's a great woman). Liara... I didn't like her because she started being interested in Shepard because the beacon, an then looking info of him in the extranet was like an obsession. If you count that in LotSB she has part of your armor, and even have your old dog tags, if she's not your LI that will be a serious obession with Shepard.

They're all different - it's a matter of your personal fav for your own reasons, and then appreciating the writing/arc of other romances. I rather like Jack's it's very touching actually the Paragon, but that's from a writing perspective, she's not my cup-o-tea.

Tali I admit was strong, it's hard to turn her down, we've all had strong crushes where we thought the other person would never notice us, it's very relatable and great arc. And her awkwardness is too adorable for words. Bah =)

Garrus/Femshep is funny and touching at the end.

My heart is with Liara/Miranda though...

If you got the Shadow Broker mission DLC, her file in the console says she's infertile. Sorry for busting your bubble.
